Mi Casa Toasteria Milano — Restaurant in Milan

I had a less than good experience but it was our own fault as we went to a ‘brunch bar’ in Italy. I took the brunch plate with salmon, eggs, zucchini, bread and guacamole.

Zucchini & eggs were cold, so definitely not freshly made. I was in doubt if it was even from the day before. The guacamole was straight from the supermarket, not freshly made at alle either.

My girlfriends sandwich was pretty good though, the safer choice.

The juice was freshly made I think and the espresso’s were too (lol).

I told the waiter about my experience and he called the boss. After explaining it to him he didn’t make me pay for the plate which I appreciated a lot as I almost didn’t eat from it, so it was kind of deserved too.

They were friendly people and they try their best, but I’d advise to stick with the normal Italian breakfasts or their sandwiches, which were very good and I think their specialty.

Ho frequentato il mi casa a piazzale governo provvisorio abbastanza spesso, stasera ci tornavo per la prima volta dopo aver letto una pessima recensione che mi aveva stupito. E invece. Ci sediamo alle 18.55, ordiniamo 4 bibite e un tagliere. Dopo 20 minuti ci dicono che la stampante è rotta e hanno perso il nostro ordine. Alle 19.25 arrivano le bibite. Alle 19.30 il tagliere arriva a due tavoli che hanno ordinato dopo di noi. Chiedo spiegazioni. La cameriera che ha preso l'ordine sa solo dirmi perfetto, sembrava un disco rotto..all'interno del locale mi dicono solo che quando la stampante ha ripreso a funzionare a mandato avanti gli ordini successivi al nostro. Dopo 50 minuti ci viene portato il tagliere senza nemmeno una parola di scuse. Se non fosse stato per la ragazza alla cassa che si è scusata per l'accaduto e ha avuto un occhio di riguardo sul conto (minimo ma lo ha avuto), questa recensione sarebbe stata molto più severa. Ho trovato il locale peggiorato nella qualità del cibo e soprattutto del servizio. I visited twice with my friends while we were in Milano for vacation. We ate toasts, tiramisu and drank coffee. We loved everything and the menu was perfect since half of as are vegetarian. But what we loved most about this shop is the employees! Everyone was sweet and helpful! Especially one girl that helped us pick the best dessert of the shop. We'll visit again on our next trip...
