Pizzeria da Pino — Restaurant in Milan

Still the best pizza in Milano. This is my third trip to the city during the last 12 years and the experience is still the same: very very friendly atmosphere (it almost felt like family even for non-italiens) and a great pizza (in slices) with a crunchy bottom, a thick fluffy dough, delicious sauce, cheese of course, and mushrooms, ham or sausage above. Found this gem of a pizzeria during our recent road trip through Italy. Unpretentious place full of locals which is always a good sign. The staff were very nice, friendly and happy to explain what makes their pizzas unique. True masters at work creating pizza that was not typical of ‘Italian’ pizza. The pizza comes in large, thick slices, with a crispy crunchy base. Simply delicious!

We travelled on to Naples and even though the pizza there was fantastic, for the kids the Da Pino pizza was always the standard to beat. We will have to come back. This is a must visit...

If you're looking for one of the top woodfire-oven-baked sliced pizza in Milan, you're heading to the right place.
