Ristorante la Villetta — Restaurant in Milan

Siamo andati ad una festa di laurea, il ristorante era stato avvisato con largo anticipo che ci sarebbe stato bisogno anche di una scelta vegetariana ed era stato assicurato un menù su misura. Una volta arrivati agli antipasti sono stati serviti dei salumi, così ci accingiamo a chiedere quale fosse l'opzione veg, la risposta del cameriere è stata "vegetariano, mangi solo verdura, giusto?" Assurdo che nel 2024 il personale di un ristorante a Milano non sappia far fronte ad una richiesta così semplice (tra l'altro, ripeto, avvisati con largo anticipo). Alla fine l'antipasto è stato composto da sole verdure grigliate contro gli affettati degli altri. Come secondo antipasto a tutti è stato portato un misto mare e un altro cameriere ancora mi domanda "Il misto mare lo mangi, vero?" alla risposta negativa risponde chiedendo "Cosa ti posso portare? Verdure grigliate?" ... Probabilmente mi aveva preso per un coniglio. Alla fine mi sono stati portati dei carciofi durissimi. Chiedo cosa sarebbe stata la prossima portata, così da capire se finalmente avrei mangiato altro oltre alle verdure. Mi dicono 'pappardelle ai funghi' ottimo, penso! Vedo che iniziano a portare a tutti un risotto con del pesce e quindi chiedo per il mio primo, continuano a temporeggiare e dopo circa 15 minuti in cui tutti avevano finito portano a tutta la sala queste benedette pappardelle (quindi io ho saltato il primo assaggio di primo) le pappardelle erano davvero molto al dente purtroppo. Dopo, a tutti viene portata una tagliata di carne e a me, indovinate? NULLA. Ormai stanca di chiedere ogni 5 minuti per qualcosa da mangiare ho rinunciato, anche perché ormai mi era passata la fame totalmente.

Mi dispiace ma anche le poche cose che ho mangiato erano di pessima qualità e un personale che non si preoccupa di trovare una soluzione e fa stare digiuno dei clienti per me dovrebbero...

The food was acceptable, especially considering the price, but there are better options available. And even though I don't speak Italian, the server was really accommodating and helpful, even letting me order twice, once for drinks and my appetizer, and coming back a few minutes later for my main order.

Unfortunately I have come down with food poisoning with cramps so bad I can't even walk, likely from the spaghetti with oysters (good thing I didn't eat the oysters (which I decided not to do since they still had excrement inside, and no it wasn't just filtered material)) possibly from the squid with olive...

Superb in every way. Quiet family restaurant with delightful atmosphere and exquisite cuisine. I had a lobster fettuccine for 17 euro that was the best in my life. Fresh tomatoes sautéed with clams, shrimp and half lobster prepared perfectly. The veal Milanese was perfect with gnocchi Piedmontese starter that was light, rich all at the same time.
