Ciccio Pizza — Restaurant in Milan

Until we got the bill... We booked a table for two in advance even tho it's quite unnecessary due to the covid circumstances. Unfortunately the digital menu was only in Italian available ( which is quite common) so I asked the friendly and attentive waiter to help us with the menu. After some initial difficulties due to language barriers we got along and he told us to trust him with the choices of food and beverages. So we ended up ordering a Spumante and a mixed starter plate based on his recommendations. The wine / Spumante was okay but not groundbreaking. The mixed starter plate was a great choice of sea food and some regular basics you would get in any other italian restaurant. Because the size of the starter was that big, we only ended with ordering with one pizza, which was to be honest amazing, hands down. Perfect crust and great topping. My fiancee and I had an amazing night in a restaurant nextdoor to the place where we were staying. Until we got the bill when we found out that 75% of the amount of the bill (95€ total! in an average restaurant for two) was because of the starter and the wine. I asked the waiter just after we got the starter for the price and he replied with 13 or 14€, which was obviously not the case in the end. We were both really disappointed and felt cheated even tho the pizza was amazing. Also the waiter only said it's there regular pricing and there is nothing he could do for us... But there is no chance we will come back after this incident. So watch out for what you are ordering and ask for the price! It's basically my first review I am writing and the 4th restaurant we went to for dinner during our trip to Milan but none was so much disappointing with the pricing. For a couple of students at their last night out in Milan it was not was...

Sono stato da Ciccio Pizza diverse volte, quindi questa recensione sarà forse più accurata rispetto ad altre perché è la sintesi di tutte le mie esperienze fatte fino ad ora.

ARREDAMENTO - 7/10

Il locale ha sicuramente una sua cifra stilistica, ma personalmente non mi ha mai convinto. Quello che non mi piace (ma è questione di gusti) è l'accostamento di elementi naturali e rustici come la pietra con altri iper moderni come i pavimenti trasparenti. Inoltre alcuni tavoli sono collocati in punti molto trafficati, risultando estremamente scomodi, in definitiva una gestione e arredo dello spazio a mio avviso più che discreta, ma sicuramente molto migliorabile.

ILLUMINAZIONE - 6/10

La gestione delle luci non è malvagia ma anche qui non mi ha mai entusiasmato: nel complesso non disturbano, ma non esaltano l'esperienza.

PERSONALE - 8/10

Non ho mai incontrato particolari problemi con chi mi ha servito o alla cassa, quindi mi ritengo soddisfatto.

SERVIZIO - 7,5/10

Alcune volte c'è stato qualcosina che non ha funzionato alla perfezione: ritardi eccessivi nel portare un ordine, dimenticanze (una sola volta ad onor del vero), e sbagli nel ripieno del cornicione. Tuttavia, considerando la folla nel locale, può capitare ed il personale ha sempre prontamente rimediato.

CIBO - 9/10 (Pizza)

Ho preso sempre e solo la pizza, quindi posso affermare con ragionevole sicurezza che è una delle migliori che abbia mai provato. Gustosissima, cornicione ripieno che è una goduria per il palato e preparata con ingredienti di elevata qualità. Non metto 10 solo perché la pizza è un po' più piccola della media, ma ci sta anche vista la quantità di roba che c'è.

PREZZO - Giusto in relazione alla qualità della pizza

Un po' più alto rispetto alla media dei locali "a caso", ma la pizza è davvero eccezionale ed è quindi giusto che si paghi.

In definitiva è un posto che consiglio sicuramente, soprattutto se volete una pizza buona e non vi va di tirare ad indovinare se la pizza...

Our experience at Ciccios Pizza... where do i even begin... The first time we went to this establishment, I learned that the servers can be very flirtatious. The food is amazing, the drinks were fanominal. If we want a strong drink... we recommend you go here. It definitely accentuates the taste of the food, and you will have a great time. The only critique we have, is that we were met with slight judgement when we asked to sit inside. not sure why, but to be honest, the food and drink were too good to...
