Ristorante pizzeria 3 Fratelli — Restaurant in Milan

Came here as it was close by the hotel and we wanted a quiet meal for 2 after a hectic day visiting como. First of all the meal was one of the best we have had in milan regardless of the price. For first course the Lardo and pancetta was sublime. Primo platti gnocchi with 4 cheeses and spaghetti Vongole, both absolutely amazing. Vongole with a large amount of clams and the gnocchi with A LOT of scamorza. Tasted amazing. Secondi was both of us having cottoleta Milanese. So tender and flavour was great. Along with this we ordered grilled vegetables, which consisted of courgette, peppers and aubergine. All tasted great. We also were given a free portion of fried potatoes. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu. Which would have been fine. But we were delivered a tiramisu, a millefuile, dark and light profiteroles and torte a la nonna. No complaints as each one was amazing, but left us feeing rather gluttonous. Hospitality here is amazing. Half way through the meal we were given a half bottle of sparkling wine. And to finish we had 2 limoncello and a very very large serving of mirto, a great Sicilian drink, Well recommended. This place is great and we will be recommending this place to everyone we know. Literally chanced upon this place from an online recommendation! When we entered, we were instantly greeted as guests and longtime regulars! It felt sooo foreign to us as no one had ever done that and it was amazing! As we were seated, we were complimented and it was all smiles! We even noticed other patrons leaving happily and laughing and shaking hands with the host as they left! It was such a different sight compared to the usual corporate or business like atmosphere restaurants that we are used to. We knew we made the right choice.

The food was simply amazing! We didn’t know what to order so we left it to the host and he picked out the best pizzas we’ve ever tasted! And boy have we tasted our fair share… not only that, as we ordered wine, he even gave us totally full glasses which is absolutely unheard of! He even gave us additional shots of limoncello when we were done. Deserving of top class service. The dessert was also to die for , truly a top tier tiramisu! Though not the best, an easy top 3 I’ve ever tried! Please do not pass up on an opportunity to try the best family...

UPDATE: felt compelled to go back for another meal after a great first experience. I went back with my wife and excitedly ordered a lasagna. Unknowingly, it’s not an item on the menu, but he spoke to the chef and they whipped up an absolutely delicious piece for us! They’ll be serving the rest as a special the day after. They took every opportunity to go above and beyond: baking a heart shaped pizza on the house, pouring giant glasses of wine, and giving us 4 extra desserts on top of what we ordered. I attempted to leave a bigger tip, and Massimo tried to make me take home a bottle of wine lol. The food is delicious here, but his big heart and hospitality makes this one of the most memorable experiences I have of Milan. Had a great lunch here. Had the penne ragout, beef with porcini mushrooms, and seafood linguine baked with dough. House chilli oil was really nice. Everything was delicious, Massimo is so friendly and gave us some limoncello on the house after our meal. Staying for 2 nights and will be eating 2 meals...
