Dinky — Restaurant in Milan

It's lucky for the restaurant that trip advisor don't allow me to score a 0.

The worst dining experience ever in Milan. We ordered a starter buffet (antipasto) which the manager gave me a small plate (€6) for getting food for once. Later when I was piling up my food he said I have too much on the plate (WTF?) and said my portion would be too much that he will charge me more as a large plate, I.e. €12. He then threw my food on the small plate to the large plate. Honestly you have no rules on the maximum weight or height I can obtain with a small plate. If you are so selfish and worried your customer will make you lose money you should not provide this buffet.

The spaghetti that came later was not cooked...

Visited the restaurant in June with my wife who ordered a burger. It was not cooked through properly, the bun was falling apart as they typically do when they are frozen and defrosted. This meal was aborted.

I ordered Tuna steak with fritters, think they were filled with courgette. The steak was very over cooked and was very bland as it came with no sauce on the side and the fritters were very oily hence why I couldn’t even tell what the filling was.

Overall very disappointed with this restaurant given the good quality standard of food you come to expect in Italy. Complained to the management and they refunded the burger part...

SPIACEVOLE EVENTO MAL GESTITO. Non è la prima volta che vengo qui ed è per questo motivo che ho voluto portare mia cugina da Hong Kong ma purtroppo, questa volta l'esperienza in questo ristorante Dinky (vicino la stazione Centrale) ci ha delusi. Erano partiti bene con l'antipasto finché non sono siamo arrivati ai primi (peccato perché erano anche buoni): mia cugina sul suo piatto dopo aver capovolto un pacchero ha trovato un insetto (piccolo scarafaggio). Abbiamo subito riferito il fatto al cameriere tuttavia la risposta è stata solamente: "ci dispiace, l'insetto sarà volato sul piatto". Tutto ciò per dire che la situazione è stata gestita con superficialità, anche dal Responsabile in cassa che, solamente dopo avergli fatto capire che eravamo i clienti che si sono trovati l'insetto sul piatto, con un sorriso, ha solamente ripetuto la stessa risposta del cameriere e, dopo avergli fatto capire che era una cosa inaccettabile, ha aggiunto: "beh posso comunque togliere il piatto dal totale". Questo tipo di atteggiamento sinceramente è inaccettabile anche perché è la prima volta che ci è capita una cosa simile.
