Tender — Restaurant in Milan

I have got mixed feelings about this place. The place, like some others, offers happy hour every evening for about 12/13 euros per person. Staff have been happy to explain it to me. You will get a drink from the list and bottomless food from the plates inside. What surprised me is finding warm food and staff continuously brought out a lot of new choices, including mains like pastas. If you want a second drink you just pay it from the price list (about 8 euros). Only downside, I regretted sitting outside as we have been tormented from flies, I know in such a warm weather is out of anybody control but I really can not bear them sitting on...

I came here for a typical Milanese aperitif. The drinks were great and food amazing. The atmosphere was nice too. However, when I approached the bar to ask for a glass of water, the bartender was very rude. He replied ‘NO, YOU CAN BUY IT’. I made sure to explain I just wanted a glass of tap water but the reply was the same, even with a worse tone. Sconsiglio vivamente. Happy hour partito con la cameriera che ha affermato di "non aver piacere nel controllare i green pass", che poi ha effettivamente smesso di controllare dicendo che "non le interessava se non lo avevi". Il cibo ci é stato servito senza le posate (che abbiamo dovuto cercare in seguito all'interno del locale) e il ragazzo che aveva portato il tagliere ci ha esortati a prendere il cibo con le mani. Importante specificare che essendo un "Happy hour" il tagliere veniva poi passato tra altri tavoli che a loro volta dovevano prendere il cibo direttamente dal tagliere che poco prima era stato utilizzato per dei perfetti sconosciuti. Non una buona strategia in generale, ma in particolare durante una pandemia. La cameriera ha confuso i cocktails e per ordinare dell'acqua e delle patatine (esterne al piano di ordinazione "happy hour") abbiamo dovuto aspettare 40 minuti e andare più volte ricordare l'ordine; ci sono state portate nel momento in cui ci stavamo alzando per andarcene, stanchi dell'attesa. Non é stato molto bello sentirsi dire poi dalla medesima inserviente che "poteva spiegarci quello che volevamo su gli alcolici del menù perché tanto non aveva un cavolo da fare".
