NoLoSo — Restaurant in Milan

We must have caught this Bar and staff on an off night. Based on the reviews we expected a polite and welcoming experience.

We are two foreigners who are no strangers to the LQBQT+ scene and actively work and volunteer in our community. Bars like NoLoSo are our must see when travelling. I was disappointed here.

The staff were short with us from the GO, not helpful or even dismissive. Fine, sass and strong style are staples in most Gay bars.

Nice evening we sat outside to the side of the entrance, we were not told about the aperitivo going on inside. Not informed that we reached a certain drink limit that make the food free. They gave us menus and took a menu food order when they weren't even serving from it, never to return with it.

We felt the vibe they didn't like non locals early on and kept ours orders short, used the menu as an aid and later on we doubled down and tried to kill them with kindness. Smiles, thanking the chef and complimenting every cocktail.

As our reward, after we paid to leave and took our drinks outside to an empty row to smoke, most of the staff lined up infront of their outdoor guests to watch if we were walking off with their glassware. Only to bump into each other, jolting back in after we stopped and turned.

To be honest, it wasn't terrible. Cool atmosphere. It was very serviceable food and drinks. My issue is when the LGBQT+ flag is proudly hung outside, I expect the location to be inclusive and welcoming. To embody what the community stands for. We felt dismissed, unwanted and...

"Colourful" location for a good cocktail with friends. A late afternoon after a long day of work you need a dose of 100% relaxation and here I must admit that this location is very nice, with tables in the outdoor area on the street. This location is declared LGBTQ+ friendly. The service was almost "flawless". The cocktails we chose were masterfully made: both the NoLoReggo and the Hugo. In the buffet we can find particular dishes and dishes that not all aperitif locations offer, such as broad bean cream with chicory, obviously in addition to pizzas and scones, or other delicious little things. It's so good also just to spend some chill out time together alone.

Very tasty Nolo Cocktail, The buffet Is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Just never tasted before in Milan such a quality, for this price,

absolutely first time, I don't have nothing against other places,

it's just here I tasted a food and drink quality so fine, so hard to compete!
