Thai Lounge Milano — Restaurant in Milan

Really bad experience. We ordered take-away, two Pad Thai, one yellow curry, rice, Satay. Because of our kids (one is allergic), we ordered both Pad Thai without prawns. When we got home we found both Pad Thai with prawns, which meant we had to throw away one of them. The Satay skewers are much too dry, but the yellow curry was OK (even though I really think rice should be included in a curry order, especially because all dishes are really expensive (prices of Via Spiga/Montenapoleone in Zone Lambrate!), and as a warning to everyone: the portions are miniscule! They come in big boxes, but when you open the box, the food only takes about a fifth of the volume. For transparency: I called them and told them about it, and they apologised, but the damage was done and we will surely not return. Esperienza davvero negativa. Abbiamo ordinato da asporto, due Pad Thai, un curry giallo, riso, Satay. A causa dei nostri bambini (uno è allergico), abbiamo ordinato entrambi Pad Thai senza gamberi. Quando siamo tornati a casa abbiamo trovato entrambi i Pad Thai con gamberi, il che significava che dovevamo buttarne uno via. Gli spiedini Satay sono troppo secchi, ma il curry giallo era OK (anche se penso davvero che il riso dovrebbe essere incluso in un ordine di curry, soprattutto perché tutti i piatti sono molto costosi (i prezzi di Via Spiga/Montenapoleone in Zona Lambrate!), e come monito a tutti: le porzioni sono minime! Vengono in grandi scatole di cartone, ma quando apri la scatola, il cibo occupa neanche un quinto del volume. Per trasparenza: li ho chiamati e gliel'ho detto, e si sono scusati, ma il danno è stato fatto e sicuramente...

The food here is very tasty and very authentic, the flavours are incredible. Service was quick (okay, it was quiet at the time) and attentive. No menu in English but the photos help and so do the staff…..or there is always Google translate. Prices were very reasonable and portion size was bigger than I expected. Food is very delicious. As a Thai, I could say that the taste is authentic. You can tell them what level of spicy you prefer. I got the same spicy level as I used to eat in Thailand.
