Extremely affordable (~$17E, soft drinks + seating charge in) for really good AYCE sushi. We're used to North American-style all-you-can-eat sushi, and this comes in very close with the best of what we've had. The portions were smaller than we're used to -- but nothing to complain about when you can just order a little more if you're hungry. We came in during lunch on a weekday, and what was astounding was, we were probably part of the oldest customers in attendance (we're early 30s)... Lots of youth, children, teenagers, and young adults in the crowd who were putting away sushi and items like it was air -- we were astounded. All in all, the staff were very friendly, understanding, and courteous despite our obvious lack of speaking the language. Forewarning -- if you're not used to eating sushi, it's best to come with a language translator on your phone as they didn't seem to have/offer an English menu. We were able to make our way through it with our familiarity with Japanese / sushi dishes but otherwise you may have a little bit of trouble....
Read moreTerrible. They either forgot to make my last plate or it simply took them more than 45 minutes to make some rolls. The waiter didn’t even apologised and even answered me a rude tone. Also, my second and third plates arrived nearly 30 mins after the first ones. Any All You Can Eat restaurant is worth just for the amount of food you can have, but if you wanna waste your time too then this is definitely the place you should go to. Unlike in other restaurants of this same type that will definitely not make you waste your time as much as this one. I even got to class 40 min late despite coming with a lot of time to have lunch thanks to that last plate that seemed to have taken lots of time. Food is just okay, nothing out of this world, would give it a 5.5-6/10. Those chinese buns where pretty tasty though, gotta remark that. Service is not...
Read moreToyama has a quiet compelling 16€ per head all you can eat offer! Anyhow, the staff is nice, but they keep you waiting a long time! In addition, two sushi chefs for a fully booked restaurant with more than 8 guests seems to be insufficient. Anyhow, if you go crazy and order anything you can find on the menu for 8 people, you don't have to mind, as you can't eat it as fast as it keeps coming anyway. The fish was quiet fresh and the sushi was pretty much standard, so no bad surprises, but not very inspired either.
Verdict: a solid all you can eat sushi place with some...
