GIOELIA Cremeria, Modena — Restaurant in Modena

We were having dinner in the city of Modena and wanted to get a nice dessert. The whole time we were having dinner, there was a very long line at this place. We were thinking maybe it's famous from tiktok, but when we were done eating, we went to check it out because the lines weren't that long anymore. It was the best ice cream I ever had. The ice cream is stored in a closed off space (this is how you know its good quality!). I had the peach & rose and mango flavour. It was delightful. I didn't think they could taste THAT GOOD! Also, I am wondering where the mango comes from. It tasted better than "regular" mango.

If you are looking for a super creamy ice cream you should try Gioelia.

Beside a lovely square in Modena, often the stage of social activities, Gioelia has a small selection and most tastes are creamy and focused on some combo of chocolate and nougats.

The place is not very large but it has a couple of tables outdoor and there's a short wall delimiting a garden that can act as a stone bench.
