Discovering Modica Alta brought another aspect to the already enchanting baroque jem. And at the heart of this atmospheric district, perched high above the valley where most of the tourists tread between Modica's churches and cathedrals lies Rappa Enoteca a wine bar par excellence.

Even though there wasn’t much space on the terrace, the staff kindly set up extra tables across the street so we could enjoy the warm September evening.
