Il Baretto — Restaurant in Moltrasio

We were given a vague recommendation of this place from the woman who runs the ice cream place in town and we weren't disappointed. We weren't expecting too much from the small cafe/bar at the top of town but it turned out to be great. The pastries are very reasonably priced and the coffee was excellent. The addition of a full length glass window shipping container as an annex across the road is very light and airy, it really makes you want to sit down and stay. we ordered way too much food!

the tartare and burger were fantastic. we ended up ordering way more food than we thought so next time i think we’d skip the caesar salad, as it was not our favourite with the mustard and i made the mistake of thinking it’d be a lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and anchovy dressing. everything else was delicious though- and the servers were great even though it was raining. we also had the tiramisu which...

Truly one of the best value for money locations at Lake Como and simultaneously the most delicious food we ate during our extended stay. It was even better than the exclusive restaurants we dined in in Bellagio and Como for several times the amount. The food was SO good! Steak was perfect, potatoes were crisp and perfectly flavoured.
