If I could give a negative rating for service, I absolutely would. We were a group of three dining here for dinner, and the service was shockingly poor from the moment we arrived.

I started by ordering a Coca-Cola, which was brought to the table by a visibly irritated female server who spilled it and walked away without so much as an apology or any attempt to clean it up. We were left sitting at a table with a wet cloth for the rest of our meal.

Next, our main server, Luca - made it clear he had no interest in serving us. He took our order with a very unfriendly demeanor. Later, when we requested a side of bread along with dessert, he quite literally dumped the bread tray on our table. We waited for nearly 20 minutes after that, and when we finally asked about the dessert, respond with —Well, you can’t expect me to bring dessert if you haven’t finished your bread. You’ll have to let me know when — in a very rude tone.

This dinner was supposed to be a celebration for my birthday. My dad had informed the manager ahead of time, requesting a dessert with a candle at the end of the meal. But given the consistently rude and dismissive service, the dessert unsurprisingly came without the candle, and it completely ruined the evening. We left feeling so unwelcome and deeply disappointed.

With service like this, I would never recommend this place to anyone. A special occasion turned into a completely avoidable disaster, all due to the staff’s poor attitude and lack of basic...

My experience at La Baia di Moltrasio with my fiancé on June 22, 2024, was deeply disheartening due to the prejudice we encountered. After a bike ride, we walked into the restaurant and asked if they had a table outside for two. The host inquired about a reservation, and when we said we didn't have one, he informed us that all outside tables were reserved. Starving, we reluctantly agreed to sit inside.

About 15 minutes later, I noticed a table outside becoming available and asked if we could be moved. The waiter checked with the host, who claimed the table was reserved. To our dismay, a couple walked in about 10 minutes later, also without a reservation, and the host seated them outside at the very table we had requested.

Observing the seating arrangement, it became apparent that all the outside seats were occupied by white patrons, while the inside seats were filled with minorities. As a black American woman, for the first time I experienced prejudice. It was a horrible and saddening realization that such discrimination still exists.

Despite the great food and our nice waiter, the experience was marred by this discriminatory treatment. I would never step foot in this...

Despite his inquiry about midnight plans, which we were assured were in place, they disappointingly didn't happen. While the food was tasty, it left us feeling overly full.
