Osteria Mamazita — Restaurant in Moniga del Garda

no time, here's the story. on google pages you can read that opening at 5:30 pm, my husband and I arrived at 5:40 pm. Asked if we could sit down, we were asked to come back in 10 mins, nothing was said about it being only possible to use with advance booking. We came back in 7 mins and only then we were told about it. I just asked what has changed since those 10 minutes, the Lady shrugged her shoulders. So I asked why we were told we could come back. Also no answer. My opinion is valid. Especially after this owner reply. either you invite someone or not. Two days earlier, the next door in the restaurant was full, but when we asked for a table politely and it was explained to us that only reservations, but if we wait for a while, they will find something for us. Without lying, we'll get a table in 10 minutes. The difference was that the staff spoke English. BTW, if you've been rude, it's not worth waiting for...

Very very kind staff and a quiet place to eat. We were offered some water at the beginning which was nice and had a very delicious dinner. The pizza was very good, so was the salad and the french fries. As someone mentioned before, the fries reminded us of Belgian / Dutch fries and we were able to chose between ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard and barbecue sauce with no extra charge..

They also had a jukebox that plays really nice songs. We sat outside and the ambience was really good. In my opinion, it could be more bright outside with some candles at the table maybe. But this is personal preference. We had a really nice and really satisfying dinner for two. We also did not wait too long for the dishes. I recommend to...

Siamo andati a mangiare al Mamazita sabato a pranzo. Cibo veramente ottimo, mai mangiata una tagliata di manzo così buona, si scioglieva in bocca da quanto fosse morbida. Siamo arrivati ed avevano finito il pane, tant'è che la cameriera ci ha fatto fare una focaccina al momento, deliziosa, morbida e calda. Come primo piatto io ho preso una lasagna, buonissima. Come secondo il mio compagno la tagliata, come detto sopra davvero squisita ed io il baccalà con la polenta. Baccalà buonissimo, purtroppo ho lasciato la polenta perché ero piena, fanno porzioni davvero grandi, cosa che adoriamo tutti. Come contorno abbiamo preso delle patatine fritte che ci ricordavano tanto l'Olanda, molto buone. Passiamo al dolce, io tiramisù, rivisitato era spettacolare! ed il mio compagno la torta al cioccolato con le mandorle. Si mangia DAVVERO bene. Il mio fidanzato (cuoco) è stato molto contento del cibo, cosa che non capita spesso essendo lui molto esigente.
