I’ve been to many of the Gambero Rosso gelaterie and I must say, Leoni definitely deserved the two cones and even more, I could totally see a third one coming. By far one of the best gelatos I have had. I had salted pistacchio and white chocolate with saffron, lemon, and pine nuts. They were so flavorful and light. They didn’t taste like sugar at all which is so rare nowadays, I almost went in for a second gelato because it was THAT good. I want to try all of the flavors now, especially the cannolo! Hope to be back very soon!

Went on a warm day, the queue was crazy long hence i got a perception of quality ( why would someone queue at an ice cream place for 25 min if it wasn't good, right?). The ice cream is good, a bit for a lover of a fast melting gelato, i personally prefer ice cream that I can enjoy and not swallow in a speedy way as it's melting after 3 minutes in my hand. That said, the consistency is soft and creamy.

They also have "sandwich ice-cream", which is something from Sicily and it's basically a bun with a couple of scoops. Probably my next try on a...

This is the BEST gelato in Monza, and some of the best Italian ice cream we have ever tried. It is a must visit if you are in Monza.

We popped into the shop one day by chance while walking to the train station to visit Milan.

…we then returned for 4 more nights consecutively!

Amazing range of flavours, great atmosphere, affordable pricing and the most incredible service.

Special shout out to Marta for making our visits so special!
