Wow, what a special place. We've been in Sardinia for almost two weeks, travelling down the east coast and this was easily the best meal we've had. It was a very busy night and we waited for an hour for food to arrive but we were in good spirits and the drinks and bread arrived straight away. It was totally worth the wait. The house seafood pasta (Isola Verde pasta) was to die for. Easily the best seafood pasta dish I've eaten anywhere in the world. My wife had the sea bream with chips and salad. We didn't need the chips but they were nice. Everything seasoned correctly but could be too salty for some not used to it. The pesto pasta had a real freshness and the pizza was good too. People were queuing to take them away. The waiting staff did a brilliant job staying positive and upbeat on a clearly overwhelming evening. Simply fantastic.

The service was simply terrible. It took more than 20 minutes to bring a simple appetiser! We ordered mixed plate of meats and cheese, however, the quality was awful. Without our consent it was covered in spicy oil, cheese was only one type (3 pieces of it). Salami looked like it was out for too long (had a darker colour than the rest of the same salami). Risotto looked fine, however clams tasted a bit weird, as well as the shrimp had some red liquid pouring out of its heads. We asked the waiter about it, he hesitated for a moment before responding that it’s NORMAL!!! Never again will try to dine there!

Ci sono stata due volte sempre a cena. La prima volta ho preso la pizza gusto Isola verde con pomodoro, mozzarella, olive taggiasche, guanciale e ricotta. L'impasto era ottimo, e anche la base di pomodoro e mozzarella aveva un sapore delizioso. Dalle foto potete vedere che inizialmente avevano dimenticato di mettere la ricotta, ma si sono accorti subito senza bisogno che glielo dicessi e mi hanno riportato la pizza corretta. Tra l'altro la ricotta era davvero buona e stava benissimo con gli altri ingredienti. Quello che ha un po' rovinato la pizza è stato il guanciale. Purtroppo se si sceglie di mettere delle fette così spesse, bisognerebbe cuocerlo molto di più (anche a parte volendo) perché così com'era risultava praticamente immangiabile. Siccome mi piace molto il guanciale (avevo scelto la pizza proprio per quello), non mi andava di scartarlo, quindi l'ho tagliato in piccoli pezzi e ho provato a masticarlo, ma mi sono ritrovata spesso a mandarlo giù intero 😅 L'alternativa sarebbe stata quella di servirlo tagliato più sottile. Al tavolo con me un'altra persona aveva preso la stessa pizza e ha riscontrato la medesima problematica. La seconda volta ho preso il fritto di calamari e le patatine fritte. Fritto buono, nella media direi. Sicuramente ne ho mangiati di migliori, più morbidi e gustosi, ma comunque raggiunge e supera la sufficienza per quanto mi riguarda. Patatine buone, forse tagliate un po' corte ma vabbè poco male. Nel complesso mi sento comunque di consigliare questo ristorante perché mi rendo conto di essere stata solo un po' sfortunata probabilmente. Immagino che gli altri piatti possano meritare anche 5 stelle e poi la location è davvero bellissima. I prezzi inoltre trovo che siano più bassi della media, specialmente quelli delle pizze che non superano mai i 10€ (ormai una rarità).

Lovely food and great vfm. The house red was the nicest house red we have had in the local restaurants that we ate in in Costa Rei. I had the seafood spaghetti while my wife had the penne with pesto. We were a bit greedy as we followed this up with a half of pizza each, really didn't need this but we were a bit confused by the menu and thought that the pasta would be quite small. It wasn't but it also wasn't so large (like you might expect in the UK) that you couldn't have a small dessert. Recommend eating here. Ask for an English menu (if you are English!) as the menu they pick first is in Italian and German. Anything labelled first course is big enough to be a main, same for second. Appetisers are the starters! Anyway, I highly recommend the seafood spaghetti. The penne with pesto was a bit too much after half way through albeit, very nice. Obviously the pizza was awesome! We were even treated to a selection of sweet fancies after we paid, I had what can best be described as a jammy dodger, my wife a macaroon. I think I enjoyed the jammy dodger more than my wife enjoyed the macaroon but being a polite English woman she didn't want to put the waiter out by taking a couple of extra seconds to decide what she wanted! We ate with 7 people and got 2 out of 5 pizzas half black as they use a wood oven. Telling the waiter he didn't care too much. Telling the owner lady she said she didn't see it. Two people had a sword fish too dry and not very fresh or deep frozen. Telling our dissatisfaction didn't bother anyone. When we paid our bill of about 250 euro one espresso was missing worth one Euro. We took it from the Tipp as they didn't want to give anything back. Very bad customer and complaint behavior.
