Chalet Delle Rose — Restaurant in Naples

Antonio waited on us during a random stop off for a drink. He was extremely polite, engaging, and helpful. He spent time to engage with us, and our son. Helpful hints on our Italian and his English. It was a true experience, and helped remove the distaste of disrespect from our stop for a graffa con gelato at Chalet Ciro. It reinforced that most Italians are welcoming, humble, and helpful. Which is why we love this country.

We popped in here while waiting for our restaurant to open. We were just going to have a coffee but when we saw the cocktail menu we thought what the heck. We had a couple of lovely cocktails each. They were 8€ each which seems to be the going rate. The staff were friendly and even demonstrated the correct way to drink a flaming B52 after I nearly lost...

Sono rimasta delusa da questo posto. La donna che ci ha serviti era simpatica ma quando ho chiesto una crostatina alla frutta non l'avevano, poi ho chiesto un secondo dolce scritto nel menù e non avevano nemmeno quello. Allora ho preso un Krapfen "ripieno" di nutella e alla fine non era ripieno PER NIENTE, aveva solo una goccia di nutella in alto che lo faceva sembrare traboccante di cioccolato ma poi dentro era totalmente asciutto. E l'ho pure pagato caro! Poi il mio amico ha chiesto una peroni lemon e non l'avevano... Personalmente non sopporto i locali con un menu ricchissimo e che poi concretamente hanno la metà delle cose che ci stanno scritte. Unica nota positiva del locale è la posizione, c'è una bella visuale e le poltrone-dondolo su cui sedersi sono molto comode (e originali). Ma per il resto non...
