Da Tonia Pizzeria Trattoria — Restaurant in Naples

Very nice experience, we came back here twice. At the beginning and end of our trip. We tried the, Parmigiana Melanzane and Nerano pizza with courgette cream. The prices are fair, especially compared to the prices on the Amalfi coast. Tip (coperti) is already included in the bill.

The staff is nice and let us try limoncello and meloncello. One minus point, we found the fried squid extremely chewy, also the taste was off.

Beh ci sarebbe tanto da dire ... innanzitutto io non so se sta aperto da prima o dopo di alcune attività in zona ma, chi gestisce sto locale è un genio del marketing. È a 2 passi da una "rinomata" pizzeria e tutti i clienti, tipo me, che si scocciano di fare la fila dall'altra parte ,un po per fame ,un po per prova si fermano qui. Risultato? Sono stato in tutte le pizzerie migliori di Napoli e da napoletano vi garantisco di non aver mai mangiato pizza più buona e non solo per rapporto qualità/prezzo che è altissimo, ma proprio per la qualità. Ripeto è la pizza più buona da me mai mangiata ad un prezzo super onesto. Non da sottovalutare il fatto che non sono solo pizzeria e tra primi tipici,carne e pesce cucinato bene, c'è veramente una vasta scelta di prodotti ,tutti di qualità e ben cucinati. Mangiare un buon piatto di genovese e fare la scarpetta con una focaccia fatto con il loro impasto di pizza ,penso sia un'esperienza impagabile. Una buona offerta anche di dolci che ovviamente non producono loro ma di ottima fattura, che dire : Assurdo...temo solo che se continuano così, non solo avranno il successo che meritano, ma che possano adeguare i prezzi ad un mercato che oggi è spietato,quindi correte, subito , prima che sarà...

We just wanted to get take away and when we asked about taking it home, they said they don’t do that and mocked me, even if they clearly state that they do on their website. I later found out that that waiter had no idea what he was talking about, since he didn’t even understand English. Oh well, pizza was good but not really worth the hype and the waiting time was excruciating! Waited more...
