Pizzeria e Trattoria Partenopea di Alfredo Nocerino &C. — Restaurant in Naples

I ate here as it was local to our hotel and it was the first place that said they offered gluten free pizza. However, the pizza was not great. The base was not made fresh, it was from a packet. I'm guessing there is not much of a demand for gluten free pizza in and around the area so it's more viable to purchase the packet base than make fresh, or they feel they do not have the facilities to be able to make fresh dough. I've nothing against packet bases and done right they're ok, but this one was not done right, the base was burnt thus dry. See photo. Like I say, probably not much demand for gf locally and it's great that they offer the option but there will be a difference in time to cook that needs to be considered.

What I will say is that, the other food I saw going out to another family looked lovely. So please visit and taste/judge for yourself.

Pizzeria-trattoria dal carattere informale e spartano ma allo stesso tempo, accogliente e dal clima familiare. Sicuramente non adatta a chi esige un certo tipo di ricercatezza di stile e di servizio. Parliamo di una piccola locanda esteticamente senza troppe pretese, che ti conquista per la sua particolare atmosfera fatta di cordialità, semplicità, simpatia e condivisione.

Il menù è ben variegato. Oltre ai classici antipasti, troviamo pizze dalle più classiche a quelle più "special", primi piatti della cucina tradizionale napoletana (pasta e patate con provola, pasta e fagioli, ecc) che variano in base alla stagione e secondi di carne e di pesce, anche quest'ultimi sempre in base alla stagione e alla disponibilità del prodotto. In questo modo, la locanda offre un alto indice di freschezza e qualità che credetemi, non tutti hanno. La pizza è buona, cotta in modo omogeneo e l'impasto è bello soffice e leggero, facilmente digeribile. Anche la parmigiana come condimento della pizza, era molto buona e saporita. La salsa era ben cotta, per niente acida e la mozzarella filante e per niente gommosa. La carne è ottima e soprattutto cotta alla brace! Abbiamo preso due tris di carne con angus e scottona veramente buoni.

Il personale è cordiale e socievole, soprattutto il cuoco che più volte è uscito in sala per cambiare radio in tv perché le canzoni che stavano trasmettendo "fann nu rummor e pazz". Ci ha fatto morire dal ridere. Nota di merito in particolar modo al proprietario, una persona davvero gentile, alla mano e soprattutto umile. Ci ha spiegato la filosofia di vita del suo locale, dove acquista i prodotti, la qualità che predilige. Inoltre, cosa importante, ci ha anche spiegato che, previa telefonata preventiva, c'è anche la possibilità di richiedere un piatto in particolare di cui si ha voglia in quel momento e lui, in base alla disponibilità, vedrà di accontentarvi e farvelo trovare in menù.

Insomma, una volta abbandonato il pregiudizio inziale, saprete apprezzare le grandi qualità che questa locanda offre ma, soprattutto, la grande passione e umanità...

The sweets restaurant owner I have met in years. He opened the restaurant for me, mu wife and out small child. We were early for the opening - but the child was not in a waiting mood. He made a special pizza with a little face for her and great Pizza for me and the wife.
