Pizzeria Anni '80 — Restaurant in Naples

My pizza was so good that I haven't even gotten up from the table before writing this. I love Neapolitan pizza, but let's be truthful, there are a lot of places churning out mediocre pizzas - even in Naples.

This is the best pizza I've had in ages.

Crust? Perfect (cooked to perfection, enough salt, stretched just right).

Ingredients? Perfect (this was a 4-gusti pizza, which I rarely order but figured "why not... If the pizza isn't good, at least I'll have toppings to pick off"... But no! Every single topping was rightly prepared from the crudo to the Friarielli, and not a single ingredient was old or "off" in any way, not even a single piece of old arugula. Oh, and with all of those toppings, there wasn't even the tiniest tear in the center of the crust or even a misshapen cornicione!)

Ate it all... and wiped up my plate with the last bite of crust to make sure I didn't miss any of it.

I swear: I'm not even...

This pizzeria is a little gem around Capodimonte. There are a few tables outside the establishment so we counted ourselves lucky that we found a table.
