We went there last night for our daughter's 18th birthday as we wanted something different from the offerings in Gallipoli. The staff were delightful; they were helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The restaurant is well decorated in a contemporary style with a fresh meat display counter at the back from which you choose your options. The food was simply excellent - the quality, preparation and presentation delivered exactly what we wanted. As one other reviewer has said, the bill was an irrelevance when it arrived as the restaurant had delivered such a great experience. Not going if you're anywhere near Nardo would be...

Siamo stati a cena presso questo locale seguendo le recensioni positive lette sia su TripAdvisor che su Google e posso confermare tutto ciò che di buono e positivo avete letto. Il locale, leggermente defilato rispetto al centro storico di Nardò, è arredato semplicemente ma con gusto. È molto ordinato, si nota subito la cura dei dettagli e l'attenzione alla pulizia. Il personale ed i gestori sono assolutamente disponibili, cortesi e professionali. La qualità degli alimenti è alta, la cucina ottima, e la preparazione eccellente. Abbiamo trovato tutto di nostro gradimento, ad iniziare dai fritti, ottimi, digeribili e con una frittura davvero perfetta, passando per delle squisite orecchiette al sugo di polpette, delle eccellenti bombette, ed una superlativa tagliata di petto di pollo con brie e porcini. Ma quello che ci ha fatto proprio esplodere le papille gustative è stato il pasticciotto crema di ricotta, room, pera e cioccolato, accompagnato dal gelato. Davvero una prelibatezza che ha valso il tempo di attesa dovuto alla sua preparazione. Infine il costo (nonostante sappiamo tutti che ormai i prezzi sono decisamente aumentati e purtroppo non è più alla portata di tutti andare a cena fuori), è sicuramente adeguato alla qualità del cibo offerto. Se proprio dovessi trovare il pelo nell'uovo, che nulla ha a che vedere con il cibo, è la climatizzazione interna che probabilmente dovrebbe essere potenziata. Noi siamo stati una ventilata e fresca sera di settembre e non abbiamo obiettivamente sofferto il caldo, ma immagino che in serate più afose, con il locale pieno, due condizionatori facciano fatica a raffrescare l'ambiente (deformazione professionale 🙂🙂). Detto ciò consiglio vivamente a chiunque passi da Nardò di fare un salto dagli Artigiani, perché meritano totalmente il loro...

Wir waren mit der Familie (11 Personen) dort und hatten einen Tisch reserviert, was telefonisch wunderbar klappte. Bis man sich zurecht gefunden hatte was es alles gab dauerte es ein wenig (es gibt eine Fleischtheke in der die ganzen Fleischwaren ausgestellt sind und das Fleisch wird pro 100g berechnet).

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und erklärte alles sorgfältig, sogar der Koch kam an unseren Tisch, da wir spezielle Fragen hatten :). Nachdem wir bestellten dauerte es nicht allzulange bis alle ihr essen hatten, den es waren noch kein Gäste da. Langsam füllte es sich und sicherlich dauert es dann etwas länger aber das ist dann auch alles im Rahmen denke ich. Geschmacklich kann man nichts sagen, es hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt.

Der Hammer kam dann bei der Rechnung. Knapp über 50€ für 5 „Portionen“ Hähnchenfleisch. Gewogen wurden ca. 1600 g Fleisch aber nie und nimmer wurde soviel serviert. Auf Nachfrage haben wir dann mitgeteilt bekommen das das Fleisch im Ganzen gewogen und berechnet wird, also mit Knochen, Haut, evtl. noch Innereien und dann wird es quasi zubereitet. Unserer Meinung nach ist das unverschämt, denn wir kann man mit quasi das ganze Huhn berechnen wenn ich am Ende nur die Hälfte auf meinem Teller habe?! Bei einem Steak mit Knochen ist das was anderes aber nicht bei Hähnchenfleisch welches dann als Filetstückchen oder Geschnetzeltem auf dem Teller landen. Aber so kommt man auch an sein Geld. Deswegen bestellt auf keinen Fall Hähnchen sondern lieber Steak oder die anderen angebotenen Fleischkreationen oder fragt am besten vorher wieviel es dann kosten wird, sonst hat man eine böse Überraschung auf...
