Al Picchio - Locanda Offidana — Restaurant in Offida

What a wonderful evening! The restaurant is located on a charming little square just behind the main piazza – a quiet and cozy spot where you can enjoy sitting outside in a relaxed atmosphere.

We had dinner there and were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. We chose the menu alla chef, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Delicious, surprising flavor combinations paired beautifully with a nice glass of wine.

What made the experience even more special was that chef Carlo personally came by after the meal to ask if everything had been to our satisfaction incredibly kind and thoughtful!

Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati a cena. Ogni singolo dettaglio della nostra serata è stato perfetto, a partire dal benvenuto. L'attenzione ed il sorriso dello staff ci ha fatto sentire parte della famiglia.

Ogni piatto ha riempito il nostro cuore (oltre alla nostra pancia!), abbiamo sentito tutto l'amore che lo chef ripone nella sua cucina.

Siamo rimasti senza parole dalla qualità degli ingredienti. Le tagliatelle al ragù bianco di maiale erano qualcosa di sublime, così come il Pane&Pomodoro: clamoroso (è quella poetica "polpetta" immersa nel pomodoro che vedete in foto).

La lista vini è ampia e ben selezionata, tanto che ho finalmente azzeccato il vino per la mia ragazza (cosa non scontata).

Quello che possiamo dire, è che auguriamo a tutti di vivere un esperienza come la nostra. Grazie...

Wir haben an 5 von 7 Abenden, unseres Urlaubs in der Nähe von Offida, hier gegessen, dass es nicht 6 Abende wurden lag daran, dass das Restaurant am Mittwoch geschlossen ist. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, raffiniert gemacht und jedes Gericht, das wir gegessen haben war extrem lecker. Auch die Weinempfehlung war super. Das gesamte Team ist sehr sehr freundlich und fröhlich, man merkt ihnen die Leidenschaft für ihren Beruf an. Wir haben draußen auf der Piazza gegessen, das Ambiente ist einfach nur traumhaft. Als Tourist erfährt man die gleiche Gastfreundschaft wie die Einheimischen, das ist sehr oft nicht der Fall. Auf einer Skala von 1 bis 10 bekäme das Al Picchio von mir 500 Punkte. 😊 Ich kann das Restaurant nur...
