Ristorante La Pinta — Restaurant in Olbia

We absolutely loved this restaurant on our first night in Porto Rotondo. We liked it so much we decided to go back there a few nights later for our last meal - and that's when things went downhill. It felt like a different place. We waited for our starters for over 1 hour and 15 minutes and asked about them twice. When these arrived they weren't great at all and felt very rushed (my calamari was burnt in places). It was fairly late and the restaurant was half empty so we had no idea why the service was so slow. We also waited for our mains for 2 hours (in total) - it was rather upsetting to see new tables being served before us with the exact same dishes which we ordered way before them. We felt left out in order for the Italian tables to be served first. Initially we went there for their amazing pistachio cheesecake for dessert but we ended up leaving without the dessert and with a third of the bottle of wine still on the table. Their prices are fairly high too....

I had a truly disappointing experience here. The food was completely tasteless, lacking any seasoning or freshness. I was also misled with the so-called “catch of the day” fish, the portion size was far smaller than what was promised, which felt dishonest. To make matters worse, the staff seemed unmotivated and showed little respect, especially towards foreign customers. For a place that claims to offer quality dining, the reality was very far from it. I cannot recommend...

The staff is extremely arrogant and treats customers with complete disrespect. They clearly don’t care about your order, they say “yes” to everything just to get rid of you, and then bring whatever they feel like. It’s a terrible place to be, and I truly regret wasting my money here. Avoid it if you care about decent service and...
