Best experience in Italy! The owner, his wife, and his son are all chef’s. He makes his own wine and he shared some with us OMG! I would pay $100 a bottle, but he doesn’t even bottle it. Just makes it from his own vat in the back room. Stomps his own grapes too! Sweetest guy...

In cerca di un posto dove mangiare qualcosa velocemente prima di imbarcarci sul traghetto per Olbia, mi fermo a caso con la famiglia in questo locale. L’idea è di prendere un panino o un primo. Il gestore si rivela molto cortese e ci fa accomodare a un tavolo interno. Alla fine prendiamo tre belle insalatone. Avrebbe comunque avuto anche primi e secondi, oltre ai panini. Il gestore insiste per offrire a tutti un bicchiere di vino, che accettiamo. Per chiudere mia figlia chiede della frutta e ci porta dei fichi dolcissimi, da mangiare con tutta la buccia. Mia moglie rovescia un bicchiere d’acqua, ma il gestore interviene molto garbatamente per asciugare e ci racconta varie cose.
