Well, we paid 105 EUR for 3 people.

Pros: nice, crispy fried food

Cons: The bread slices came from that kind of very stale batch that you would normally be afraid of feeding the ducks in a public pond. Why would you serve something like this as a starter? This was - seriously - the worst bread I've ever had. There was no salt or pepper dispenser on the table and no olive oil either. You CAN do that, if you're sure that (a) your bread is so good that olive oil would simply spoil the fun or (b) if you always hit the sweet spot with your spice choices, in the eyes of every individual in the world. IF!!! Value for money was pretty bad, especially from a quantity perspective, given the whole bill of over 100 EUR. The fried potatoes (side dishes) that were to go alongside the main dishes came about 10 minutes before the main dishes such that they had cooled down by the time we were served the main dishes. The restroom was in bad condition. The staff wasn't very friendly but maybe that's because we didn't speak Italian. Whereas they did say thanks and applied the usual verbal formalities, I'm not sure I've noticed a single genuine smile. There were no vegetables in any dish and the plate design was very spartan and not at all innovative.

Summary: Too many blunders for a price way too high, while the food wasn't very...

We visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The appetizer, cuttlefish in a tomato sauce with lots of peas, was a culinary first for me, and not in a good way. It was an odd combination that simply didn't work. The spaghetti all'amatriciana was passable, though nothing special. However, the saltimbocca was truly terrible. It was both unappealing to look at and to taste. The meat had a strange smell and was as tough as shoe leather. The wine was average. On the positive side, the service was quite pleasant, and they did remove the saltimbocca from our bill. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The quality of the food, especially the main course, was far below...

We visited Trattoria Da Rugantino in Orbetello and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is charming, the food is homemade and authentically Italian, and the staff are very friendly. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of Italy and a cozy dining experience. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Orbetello again! 🇮🇹🍝🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

A simple restaurant with amazing food. Here you can enjoy typical food from Rome in a very relaxed environment. We ordered carciofi alla romana (artichokes), bucatini amatriciana, pasta alla gricia, coda alla vaccinara and saltimbocca alla romana. All food was delicious and cooked with premium ingredients. Staff is very flexible and kids friendly. We really enjoyed the food experience and highly recommend it.
