We ran into Da Simone almost by accident. A year ago we were trying to get something to eat during Italian siesta time, when everything was closed, and desperately searching for something, anything to eat, we discovered Da Simone. It was the only open place, so we grabbed a few pizzas to go, and I also bought a bag of their pane carasau to take home. Their pizzas were great, and their pane carasau was absolutely marvelous. Because we were in such a desperate situation, this was a really pleasant surprise. Even though we only went there once and by accident, we remembered Da Simone.
This year we returned on purpose. Da Simone is a small family run pizzeria that also makes the Sardinian specialty, pane carasau. It's a little family business, and it shows. They are really proud of their little place and the pizzas that they make, and they treat their guests with a friendly smile. Their selection of pizzas is rather large, and the lady of the house is also the pizzaiola, and she does a great job. We were really happy with the pizzas.

It seemed to have been directly sourced from a freezer, lacking the fresh, creamy texture that characterizes a good Tiramisu. The dessert tasted more like a store-bought version from a supermarket than a delicacy prepared by skilled hands. Additionally, the dining experience was marred by an unstable table, which was a minor yet distracting inconvenience throughout the meal. While the pizza might bring me back for a casual bite, the dessert and the setting left a lot...

The picture is with the manu displayed on the wall, we were also given normal menus when sat and we had 2 moscardini diavola and the price was €12.00 (in both menus) and when we asked for the bill we had the surprise to be charged more. The waitress explanation was that they need to change the menus as the prices have changed. I said that is not an normal practice and she had to go inside to check with someone and came back saying that we only need to pay the displayed price. Got up to leave as she was coming back with some change and insisted to take it, as if it was all about the money. It is not. It's the second place in Sardinia where...
