My wife and I we're exploring Orosei for the day and upon walking up the road to a beautiful, old church, we saw this lovely little bar with a cute outdoor courtyard with little tables, over hung with various plants etc. Just looked perfect, so we decided to pop in for some lunch and refreshments.
The service was pretty quick and extremely friendly, the waitress made us feel very at home.
We ordered some soft drinks, with my wife having a coke and I had some lemonade. Then we ordered some lunch. Although we initially tried to order some pizza, but unfortunately they were out of pizzas that day which was a shame, we instead went for some sandwiches and bruschetta. Oh my God! The bruschetta was absolutely amazing!! Best I've ever tasted and I've eaten a lot of bruschetta!! Haha! The bread was beautiful and the mozzarella was delicious, but the tomatoes were in another league!! Honestly, I think they were the best tomatoes I've ever eaten! So sweet and juicy, the flavour was out of this world. They must be very locally grown and super fresh because of it. I cannot recommend the bruschetta enough!! The sandwiches we had were excellent also, with both the bread and fillings being delicious 😋
The prices are very reasonable, the bruschetta was about 9 euros and was pretty big. A cappuccino was just 2 euros and the sandwiches we ordered were around 4-5 euros each.
We'll definitely be going back again before we leave...

Staff were quite disinterested, not very attentive and were mostly just singing along to nobody’s favourite genre…reggaeton and scrolling on their phones. Apparently it is supposed to be 60s and 70s music?
Yes, it’s a nice looking aesthetic from the outside but it’s not a great vibe and the aperitivo snacks were not great either.
They could easily tend to the above and make it a wholesome place so, I hope they take the opportunity to improve because it could be a nice setting.
Go around the corner to Gastro Garage. You’ll be in a place where the people care about the service and the quality of what...
Read moreThe courtyard and patio here have a really nice vibe, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend this place when it comes to the food. The pizza salsiccia we got felt more like a cheap bar hot dog – very basic, nothing special. Drinks were also pretty underwhelming.
On the plus side, the staff was friendly – both the waitresses and the guy at the bar – but the food just didn’t deliver, especially considering the prices. And to make it worse, the toilets were in poor condition: one flush didn’t work, it got clogged, the smell spread around, and the doors didn’t even close properly. They could definitely take better care of the...
