A Hidden Gem in Ostuni – Authentic Italian Hospitality at Its Best
Dining at Osteria Ostuni Bistrot Titina e Alessandro was an unforgettable experience. This charming, family-run restaurant—beautifully nestled in a picturesque corner of Ostuni—is run by a passionate mother and son duo and brought to life by the warm and attentive service of Hassan, their exceptional waiter.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was heartfelt. Hassan made us feel right at home, guiding us through the menu with genuine care and ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect.
As someone who requires a senza glutine (gluten-free) option, and dining with my son who also shares this need, we were blown away by the quality. The gluten-free pizza was, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had—crisp, flavourful, and completely authentic.
The food, the service, the setting—everything was outstanding. This is the kind of place that reminds you why Italy is so beloved for its food and hospitality. Real food, made with love, and memories that linger.
A must-visit in Ostuni. Thank you Titina, Alessandro, and Hassan for a beautiful evening.

Read moreI was eating there today with my dad. The pinsa tasted really good. But the best treat came after it. I asked the owner if there was a cab because my father has a walking disability and barely made it up. So he called his friend. The friend wanted 20 euros for a 5-minute ride. So the owner Francesco said, "No, that's crazy. You pay more than for your pizza. I will drive you myself with my car," and he surely did. He drove me and my dad down to the bus, losing his parking spot and in his working time.
What a nice thing to do for my dad and me.
In the car, he said, "What are we without family? Nothing."
And that it broke his heart seeing me with my dad struggling with every step.
If you ever land in this town and this story touched you, please say hi to Francesco from us and that he is a good soul.
Mille grazie... Francesco and family. I probably won't have enough time with my dad to come back as this is his last journey, but we sure will...
Read moreA Hidden Gem Right on the Square! We were just walking by when one of the owners came out to show us the menu—and it turns out it’s his family business. You could instantly feel how proud he was of what they’ve built, and rightly so!
The food was delicious, and the service was incredibly warm and genuine. Even after we’d paid the bill, they offered us water with our coffee, just out of kindness. Then, when I asked if he knew where I could buy milk on a Sunday, he actually went behind the bar and gave me a bottle of milk because nowhere nearby was open. Who does that these days? Truly one of the nicest people I’ve met.
The ambience is beautiful and relaxing. I usually avoid eating on main squares, but this place is an exception—totally worth it. Support this kind, generous family. You...
