So far, I’ve tried 6 of them: passion fruit, lemon, strawberry, pineapple, pistachio, and fior di panna, which is similar to fior di latte but with a higher cream content. The shop places a strong emphasis on quality, even going as far as listing the geographical origin of the main ingredients—such as passion fruits from Brazil, white chocolate from Switzerland, and I.G.P. certified lemons from Italy.

The shop’s exterior is quite attractive, though it tends to get crowded even during off-peak times. However, they manage to serve customers quickly and efficiently. I don't know where to start... Last Thursday we went on a foot trip around Padova. After circa 3h walk there it was - Gelateria Portogallo. Nothing special, just sitting there in the shadow. We went in and had 4 scoops altogether. I don't remember what kind of flavour was there in my hand because one of them was the best bloody ice cream I've ever had - pistachio flavored masterpiece!!!
