Oh boy let’s start, the service is extremely slooooooooooow, but really slow , I cancelled another booking for this restaurant... worst idea ever ; this guys took soooo long to even take the order from us; after and this is the most honest I can be, after 1 hours and 38 min, didn’t even get my “ secondo “ and went I ask for it they said: well we are packed so it’s taking a bit longer... the neeeeerv, if y can’t handle that many tables, take a couple out, anyway, we wait n wait till asked for the bill and the chef came and told me: so should I throw the food or what . When the meat was supposed to be cook in the table so lies lies, and was trying to act “ nicely “ offering us for a “ digestivo” and telling us well. I didn’t even charge u for the courtesy; well NO sir I was expecting for a nice lunch and turn to be, a nightmare DONT GO THERE THIS IS A NO A...

Service was terrible. We didn't expect any special treatment, but compared to everyone else in the establishment it was as though we didn't exist and our custom was not valued. We waited about 10 minutes before the waiter would attend to us to order dessert then 15 minutes to order coffee. Then when we were finished the we asked the owner for our bill. He just went about his business cooking the specialty dish. Finally we got the second waiters attention for the bill which again took about 10 minutes to arrive. To help from the beginning we ordered our food in Italian, but by the time we wanted our bill and their complete lack of regard we decided to use English instead. Would not recommend this place at all. What should have been a relatively quick and simple dinner turned out to be a very frustrating 2.5...

What a quant little restaurant. We did a Google search on our way out of Venice to find this place, and we were very happy with this choice. We were greeted with warm smiles by the staff and led to cute table over the canal. The outside is decorated with plants and lights so it has a lovely warm feel. We received a great wine recommendation from a well stocked list. ( Get the Barberra). Our food was so delicious! We ordered the gnocchi and the fettuccine with pesto. But we could see and smell the table side meat preparation of the table next to us. The staff was attentive and very kind. If you’re lucky enough you’ll get to meet the very friendly owner.
