Quiet and hidden restaurant with a view on a peaceful public garden. Comfy, clean, and with an interesting wine selection. From the most known and prestigious champagne brands, to the smallest Italian wine producers. We tried the salted cod (baccalà) with violet cauliflower cream, and a more traditional pappardelle with ragù, and they both was cooked PERFECTLY. We had a great meal at Simon’s Bistrot when we were visiting Padua. A nice walk from the busy tourist centre we found this delightful restaurant in a calm, traffic-free setting. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful to a pair of predominantly English speakers. Sono stata a cena domenica sera, il locale si trova dentro il quartiere Santa Rita dove si trova anche la parrocchia, c'è un bel parco alberato e tenuto bene dove per chi è a cena da Simon's Bistrot può godersi la pace e tranquillità del posto e lasciare liberi bambini e cani, il locale non è grandissimo ma luminoso e arredato con gusto, tavoli all'interno e la veranda in stagione estiva tutta aperta non mancano tavoli e divanetti all'esterno sia per la cena che per un aperitivo, bella la selezione dei vini a vista e vale anche per la cucina, cenato a base di pesce con vino bianco in bottiglia tutto su consiglio di Francesco persona cordiale simpatica e preparata anche il resto del personale sempre attento alle esigenze della clientela, buona qualità delle materie prime e altrettanto nella presentazione dei piatti non ultimi i dolci tutti fatti in casa piacevole serata atmosfera rilassante complice la vista del parco, dimenticavo fanno anche la pizza, un menù per bambini vero e proprio non c'è ma sicuramente sono in grado di soddisfare anche loro.
