How time flies. A few years ago we ordered a pizza from here. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in Palermo. Moving ahead. Last night we ordered a delivery with Govo. We decided this time to go for their chicken and oven potatoes. Upon delivery we found the whole chicken on top of mashed oven potatoes full of oil. Amazing place, mainly visited by locals as it is outside the city center. I have had dinner in house as well as take out, both great options. When it comes to dinning in house the prices are a tad (1€) higher.

I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Palermo to visit at least once as it is an institution. You can see that the people working there are very experienced by the way they handle the chicken and the pizze.

The only reason why service doesn't get 5 stars is that they are always so busy that they can't take attentive care...

Best Gluten-Free Chicken – Hands Down! If you're looking for the best gluten-free chicken, this is the place. I usually never eat at the same spot twice while on holiday, but this chicken was so good I had to go back.

For just €9, you get half a chicken – crispy, flavourful, and gluten-free! The staff were lovely too. Just a heads-up: it gets extremely busy, so don’t go if you're absolutely starving – it’s worth the wait, though.
