I've had supper there this evening, I would say that the general experience is frustrating. As for the pluses: a really nice quite place, a bit away from the sea. Though there is a garden in the patio which is worth visiting. a pretty delicious beef steak and swordfish fillet. Unfortunately, that's it in terms of the pluses.
Minuses: the staff barely speak English which causes various problems, the main one - they don't even try to understand you. we ordered one glass of the local wine but we were charged 2 in the final bill. We noticed it and the waiter sorted it out. I ordered pizza but the waiter misunderstood me and brought the steak, though I even pointed at the dish in the menu. Must admit that the steak was really nice. in the seafood risotto there was a lot of sand, I even haven't finished eating as it spoiled the general appetite. the cabbage was extremely bitter in the grilled vegetables. the draft beer is cheep but terrible, smells with some domestic chemicals I tried to discuss all the issues with the waiter but they said that they don't have time.
Generally, I would not recommend it. We spend 65 Eros per 3 people, definitely...

I went to this restaurant on my own as I was looking for a place to go every night when the rest of my family joined me( 6 more people)
As I am a middle aged woman on my own they probably didn't think I was worth the effort... Despite having a large garden with nearly all the tables empty, they put me in a room, on my own, with no windows and no air conditioning... I ordered a "palermitana" cutlet , which should be well cooked in breadcrumbs (there is no other way of doing it), but it arrived practically raw...After asking 3 times if they could cook it a little bit more, finally somebody came and took it away away and after 10-15 minutes they came back with a steak slightly better cooked but definitely still raw. There was no salt and pepper on the table and they charged for water which never arrived.. What short sighted people, definitely not businessmen, they lost the opportunity to have a family of six eating there every night...My advice: avoid...
Read moreThis restaurant was taken over by the people who had been working there, since Mr. Testaverde left the business. They changed the name to Franco. We gave them a chance, of course, and although we were not happy, I promised myself not to write a negative review as long as I don't visit them again. And this happened a couple of weeks ago. I don't think that it is only my impression, but they really ruined the old reputation of the place. It's a nice place, lovely garden, easy to park outside. However, the menu got worse (my favorite, the sea appetizer mix, turned into something really indecent dish) and the service is awful. The waiters run around, obviously nervous and without any trace of kindness or availability. The dishes arrive late and never at the same time, so I ate my main course, while the others enjoyed their dessert. No attention to children. I don't think that I will ever go...
