We visited on an evening and this little restaurant oozed atmosphere with soft background music and ambient lighting, it was close to a reasonably busy road which added to the overall feel but not sure what daytime dining would be like. The waitress and the chefs are really hospitable and friendly and the food is just amazing. We have been in mondello for a week now and this place is exactly what we wanted in order to experience some local traditional cuisine. I highly recommend the antipasto caldo and the antipasti sicilia. The Patate con fonduta di cacio,pepe e pancetta tesa croccante is possibly the best side dish/potato dish I have ever had., which is rosemary new potatoes with ham and I would return for this alone. The 5 steaks we had were all cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned and I found the price to be very reasonable for the standard of food served. My only issue would be the time it took for the food to arrive but when you see the small, very hot kitchen that the staff are working in it’s no surprise. Service that you can find there is highest quality. They were interested and really took care so that we could have the best experience possible. We had an amazing chat and they shown us photos of some places in Mondello but also in Palermo. Managed to guide us how to get to Palermo, where to eat and where to shop.
They also suggested us amazing local dishes we should eat and as a cook myself I can tell you its just amazing!
