Maison Gavé — Restaurant in Palermo

Sadly I have to give this place 3 stars as we were overcharged on a takeaway. We stopped at this place to get a few pastries and a coffee to go. We bought 2 pain au chocolat, 2 other tiny pastries, one americano and an almond cappuccino in a reusable coffee cup I personally took there. The total cost was a staggering €15.70. I was charged €3.70 for an almond cappuccino made in my own cup, €2.70 for a small americano and although the pastries were definitely homemade their cost was not justified for how small they were. I get it if we had sat down and were served but we got all of this to go so they should definitely adjust the prices for takeaways. There’s no way you should pay this much for a takeaway cappuccino and pastries gotten from a café in a neighbourhood outside the city...

We were tourists in Palermo and stumbled upon this place hoping to rest before we walked some more. Let me tell you this place was so perfect for that! For one, the ambiance of this place brought me right back to France! Very cute and chic inside. Second, I loved the barista! She was so incredibly nice and friendly and quite frankly made our experience exceptional. Third, the coffee was phenomenal and exceeded our expectations for being coffee loving Seattlelites. And had the PERFECT pastries to go with it. I understand this coffee shop is a little ways from the city center but...

Colazione semplicemente deliziosa da Maison Gavè! Dai croissant burrosi, fragranti e leggeri fino alle centrifughe preparate con frutta di stagione, ogni dettaglio racconta l’autenticità e la qualità della tradizione francese. È un luogo dove si percepisce subito la cura e l’amore per le cose fatte bene.

Qui è possibile concedersi una colazione completa, sia dolce che salata: dai classici croissant, pain au chocolat e torte soffici fino a proposte più sostanziose come quiche, pane tostato, formaggi e salumi selezionati. Ogni piatto viene presentato con eleganza e attenzione, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole.

L’ambiente è raffinato ma accogliente, perfetto per iniziare la giornata con calma e serenità. Un punto di forza che merita di essere sottolineato è la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale: sempre sorridenti, disponibili e pronti a consigliare le migliori scelte. La stessa proprietaria si distingue per cortesia e attenzione, riuscendo a far sentire ogni cliente coccolato e seguito con cura.

Un dettaglio che dimostra la qualità del servizio è la grande attenzione verso chi ha allergie o intolleranze: i piatti vengono spiegati con chiarezza e, laddove possibile, adattati per venire incontro alle esigenze di tutti. Una premura che non sempre si trova e che rende Maison Gavè ancora più speciale.

In definitiva, Maison Gavè non è solo una colazione, ma un’esperienza: un piccolo viaggio in Francia senza uscire dalla città, tra sapori autentici, atmosfera piacevole e persone che sanno...
