Pinacoteca Villa Zito — Attraction in Palermo

This place has changed management, Di Martino provides for catering, so we tried it again. The location is still divine, a garden in the middle of a city is always appreciated. The service was nice and quick, however, little honest. They offer a so-called ‘Aperitivo rinforzato’ (a plate of fingerfood with a drink) for 26 euro cad. We asked them if the plate was for one person and they insisted that it was only sufficient for one. We ordered four and left most of it. Heavy fried food with spicy sauce, too much for an adult, mind for a child. We were even more surprised when we hot a bill for over 130 euro. When we checked, we discovered that they tried to charge us for two drinks we never had. We give them the benefit of the doubt, but check your bill twice...

A small nice museum with changing exhibitions of palermitain artists. The artworks are nicely presented, the museum is well preserved, the expositions are interesting. We were the only visitors. The personnel is very friendly and attentive and treats you like celebrities. The entry ticket is just 5 euros, that i would say underpriced in comparison with other local museums proposing the collections of the similar size. I highly recommend...

Wonderful! Medium size museum mostly containing art that conveys the archaeological or cultural developments of Sicily over the millennia. I found it very relaxing and enjoyable to walk around the two floors. The tapestries were not as interesting to me, but could be to others and they were beautiful.
