S.MART San Martino — Restaurant in Paratico

S.Mart – San Martino offers a truly exceptional culinary experience. The food is of high quality, made from local ingredients, and every course was well-balanced and delicious – a real taste of heaven.

A big plus is that the restaurant prepares everything in-house, including the pizza and focaccia dough. It would be a lovely touch to offer a small piece of house-made bread with olive oil as a welcome treat.

It would also be nice to have free tap water in a carafe, as is common in restaurants of this level.

Service could be improved – at this standard, I expect to be noticed and seated upon arrival, not to have to look for staff. It would also be better if one dedicated server took care of our table throughout the meal.

Special praise goes to one waiter – a charming Black gentleman with extravagant nails – who was funny, attentive, and incredibly friendly. He really made our evening.

One small downside: when it started to rain and a draft blew through the restaurant, no one closed the door, and I had to do it myself – something that shouldn’t happen in a fine dining environment.

All in all, a great experience with excellent food and lots of potential, especially if small service details...

Accoglienza pessima, titolare? vestito tutto trasandato, per un locale così sinceramente mi sarei aspettata tutt'altra accoglienza. Mio marito per farmi una sorpresa per il mio compleanno, aveva appositamente prenotato chiedendo espressamente un tavolo nel gazebo, purtroppo all'arrivo non ci è stato dato quanto promesso e siamo stati fatti accomodare in un tavolo qualsiasi nel giardino ( fatti 50 km apposta per il gazebo.. vabbè). Cameriera che ci ha servito davvero gentile, solo per identificarla, era una ragazza magra e sorridente. Ad un'altra cameriera abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di acqua, sembrava scocciata e pure un po' allucinata. Veniamo al cibo: pizza assolutamente niente di speciale, molto declamata ma l'impasto risulta un po' strano, tutt'altro che soffice e vaporoso... hamburger, se non fosse stato per la cipolla caramellata, non sapeva assolutamente di nulla, di nulla la carne, di nulla la.maionese aromatizzata al basilico, di nulla il bacon( talmente duro da dovere essere sputato perchè non masticabile)...insomma, più apparenza che sostanza. Sul conto non posso dire nulla perché la cena mi è stata offerta...a detta di mio marito, pagato comunque un'esagerazione!

Alla luce della vostra risposta, resto ulteriormente basita: vi ho detto che ha pagato mio marito per il mio compleanno, ovviamente non mi.ha detto quanto ha speso e ci avete pensato voi a dirmelo... complimenti! Un gesto davvero raffinato....Non mi avete riservato nessun tavolo perché ci avete fatto scegliere tra alcuni tavoli presenti nel giardino oppure, se avessimo preferito, c'era posto anche all'interno..per cui nessun tavolo "riservato" ....i giudizi personali in una recensione direi che sono l'unica cosa che ne fa appunto " una recensione"...non ho voluto assolutamente essere offensiva, ho solo espresso la mia esperienza nella maniera più oggettiva possibile... secondo lei due hamburger ed una pizza 80€ è un prezzo adeguato? In cassa mio marito non ha detto nulla innanzitutto perché non è solito fare questioni e poi a mio avviso, chi fa presente in cassa dopo aver mangiato tutto, è solamente per avere uno sconto, cosa che non trovo corretta. Se avessimo avuto uno sconto sono certa che avreste risposto alla recensione dicendo " vi abbiamo pure fatto lo sconto e adesso vi lamentate?"...come spesso accade, lo sconto a posteriori mi sa un po' di " ti faccio lo sconto così non mi fai una recensione negativa"....ho mangiato, ho pagato quello dovevo...adesso dico ciò che credo! S. Marta was absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The accommodation gives you a warm, familiar feeling. We stayed in the "Curte Franka" — not particularly large, but perfectly sufficient. The style, with all the wood, was a mix of traditional and modern. Combined with the red accents, it felt very cozy. The place was very clean and tidy. Emilio gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and was always reachable via WhatsApp. Very friendly and attentive. The location was also excellent — just a short walk to the lake. There are public parking spaces right next door, and you receive a card for your car so you don’t have to pay — super convenient! The on-site restaurant is definitely worth a visit too! That evening, there was a dinner party, and I’ve never had so much fun while eating — it was an absolute blast! I can only rave about it and will...
