Ristorante Alta Marea — Restaurant in Pesaro

The service at this restaurant is extremely slow and completely disorganized. We waited 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. Then we waited for a ridiculously long time for our order to be taken, then started the painful wait for our food. 90 minutes after our arrival, we were still waiting for the bread (ciclista) we had ordered. We had to continue asking (waiter after waiter) for our food. The restaurant was full, but there were plenty of waiters, though there was no organization to whom they were serving. They forgot various dishes we had ordered, then tried to serve us something we had never ordered. It was as if it was the first day on the job for all of the wait staff. When the food FINALLY arrived, it was mediocre at best. Certainly not worth waiting 2+ hours for ... I didn't finish my pasta, as it had a strange oily texture and flavor. My fellow diners waited even longer for their main dishes (secondi). I was still hungry and would have asked for more bread, but I didn't want to wait any longer. The menu, food itself and the wine were great. Fabulous menu and wine list; however, this restaurant is massively let down by the lack of staff. It's a real shame, because this could easily be 5 stars instead of 3. I would like to point out, that the staff were lovely, there were just not enough of them and they are poorly managed. We had a reasonable wait before anyone served us, but as we weren't in a rush and it was a very busy Saturday evening, so it wasn't an issue. Once ordered, the drinks and the appetiser arrived in a reasonable time. However, 1.5 hours and 2 reminders later, we were still waiting for our pizza. We were finally advised they would be 10 minutes, only for one of the 2 pizzas we had ordered to arrive. There was no 2nd pizza on it's way, either! By this time, we had had enough so took a pizza box and took the one pizza away with us. We arrived at 7.50pm and left at 10.10pm. This restaurant holds so much potential to be great; it just needs more staff and better...

Siamo stati a cena qui questa sera , 9 agosto , partiamo dai punti a favore, tavolo riservato e subito pronto . Qualità del cibo davvero buona , vista sul mare aldilà della strada spettacolare . Veniamo a punti dolenti... Il cameriere che ha preso le nostre ordinazioni era frettoloso e poco attento a ciò che dicevamo tanto che c era parso quando ha chiesto se avevamo chiesto acqua naturale al posto di una coca cola. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti : 1 tartare di tonno , 1 misto freddo. Arrivati corretti . Un litro di vino frizzante , arrivato fermo. Una coca cola MAI ARRIVATA. 2 Primi... una carbonara di mare arrivata corretta ed un tagliolini con vongole.. arrivato errato 10 minuti dopo la carbonara . Mi è stato servito uno scoglio. Ammesso e non concesso che io abbia detto che non c'era alcun problema ma la risposta del cameriere prima ancora che io potessi accettare il piatto è stata. Se lo vuole bene sennò glielo cambio ma dovrà aspettare molto.. io mi aspetto che ad un tuo errore tu ristoratore, lo cambi e lo fai passare in cima alla lista dei piatti da servire, visto che già ho dovuto aspettare più del dovuto per un piatto non richiesto. È andata bene loro che sono contro gli sprechi ed è comunque stata abbastanza di mio gradimento eviterei l utilizzo eccessivo del pepe che ha guastato il sapore del pesce. In cassa abbiamo apprezzato il leggero sconto ma la scusante del c'è caos era da evitare. Veniamo da città con afflussi maggiori... basta prestare attenzione al cliente ed al dettaglio.. peccato.. il servizio danneggia molto la qualità e la penalizza.. poi il cameriere che alle nostre rimostranze in merito alle mancanze ci ha invitato a fare una recensione negativa con il tono di sfida e di chi è immune a qualsiasi lamentela.. chissà se ci sarà una seconda volta.. ne...
