We ordered carbonara and ragù. The carbonara had very little guanciale, which was quite disappointing. The owner or chef was rather unpleasant. He served the wrong pasta — spaghetti instead of tagliatelle — but I didn’t mention it because his attitude already made me feel uncomfortable. The food was very average, and honestly, I don’t understand why this place has such high ratings on Google. We had high expectations because of the reviews, especially for the ragu, but sadly it didn’t live up to them. As a tourist in Italy and amateur cook, this is the best pasta I’ve had here in Italy. I’ve managed to sample Carbonara, Putanesca and Zucchini e Zafferano and all were spot on. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked. Also as a non-italian my family is used with eating the pasta a bit less “al dente” than a native italian, so when we asked the chef to cook the pasta a bit more he did it and the result was exactly what we were expecting. Scoperto per caso oggi questo locale, passeggiando con un amico che me lo ha suggerito, essendo io un amante pazzo della pasta... Il menù a 9 euro lo trovo davvero buono e spero rimanga per molto tempo...con 9 euro puoi prendere un primo piatto a scelta, una bottiglietta d acqua, un pezzo di focaccia ed un caffè....la pasta, ho scelto una carbonara, che dire, spettacolare, ottimo il guanciale croccante, la crema di carbonara con uova e pecorino top,, la porzione se non erro era da 200gr, abbastanza per uno come me per star bene, ma io sono un caso a parte perché per essere sazio devo mangiarne almeno 400/500 grammi... Il servizio non c'è, in pratica ordino, paghi, e quando ti chiamano ritiri i tuoi piatti serviti dentro piatti usa e getta... Il ragazzo e la ragazza che gestiscono questo posto sono molto gentili, spero che mantengano a lungo questi prezzi perché qualità prezzo molto buona considerando di essere in centro a Pescara ...Ah, la pasta è pasta fresca all uovo, fatta da loro, e puoi addirittura scegliere che tipo di pasta vuoi, esposta in vetrina .. geniale l idea della pasta all uovo, tempi di cottura velocissimi, così da poter pranzare velocemente e con pochissima attesa...Ve lo dico, mi rivedrete spesso perché sono veramente stato piacevolmente colpito ....solo alla fine ho scoperto che per quelli come me hanno anche la porzione extralarge, al costo di 12.50€ per 350gr al posto di 8€ per quella da 200gr... Buon lavoro continuare così, e la prossima volta porzione extra extra...
