Palm Beach — Local services in Pescara

My friends and I came here today, and we brought 50 euros because we did not want to get any drinks, food etc, we just wanted to swim in the pool and go on the slide as it looked enjoyable (from the outside). We went and asked a waiter how much to pay for 6 people, and it was €60! (€10 per person). One of my friends decided not to go as we did not expect it to be this much as we were looking to only go in the pool for half an hour and there was only 1 big slide. We asked for the payment to be less as we wanted to stay for only a little while, but they said no. When we went on the slide, and it was so bumpy and that made it hurt a quite a bit. But we decided to try again since we wanted to get our moneys worth. When we tried again, the slide was more slippery because more water had got into it, and the turns were so jerky. One of my friends hit her head on the slide, because of how fast it was, and my other friend twisted her ankle quite badly.(she could barely walk). When we asked the waiter for a bag of ice they gave a small plastic cup with 4 small ice cubes. We said she hurt it in the slide, but they did not care and just said ok. Hi, i would like to share my feedback about this place as I believe people avoid the same experience we had. Very ód fashioned equipment, unfriendly behavior of the owner who ended up shouting on us & our little kids, because we decided to ask for money refund once we realized they lied about so many things. In the detail, we came here because they have tobogan and swiming pool as kids were excited about it. In the first place staff did let us pay for an umbrella on the beach plus entrance fee ( 8eur for each including my 18 months infant ) nobody told us that tobogan is closed and it’s not allowed to the kids under 12 years and so we realized once the owner started to shout on them. At 10.45 am swiming pool was still under the cleaning. At 12am they supposed to close it for 3 hours and so for 50euro we were supposed to spend one hour here and pay again in the afternoon. The owner was very rude and did shout on literrally that we are not in america but in italy. Honestly we were shocked and never experienced such a unprofessional behavior and out kids felt really bad by experiencing this. Like...

Pessima esperienza. Dopo un mese di frequentazione dello stabilimento balneare in cui avevamo affittato una palma io e la mia famiglia siamo stati mandati via dal proprietario solo perché abbiamo avuto delle rimostranze da comunicare.

Poco spazio tra una palma e quelle accanto che rendeva difficile la permanenza con le persone vicine con cui inevitabilmente c’era sovrapposizione di lettini, sdraio, giochi e robe varie.

Strutture poco curate, giochi per bambini mal messi, di difficile fruizione.

Docce problematiche è dire poco, sono state più le volte in cui non funzionavano bene che altro.

Comunicazione non chiara al momento della sottoscrizione di come sarebbe stato regolamentato l’ingresso in piscina, conclusosi con un poi vediamo per poi scoprire che il costo era di 8€ a persona e che quindi per usufruirne (famiglia di 5 persone) avrei dovuto spendere 40€ al giorno.

La ciliegina sulla torta è stata la volgarità del personale che alle nostre rimostranze circa il fatto che non ci stavamo trovando bene ha preferito mandarci via rescindendo scorrettamente il contatto intascandosi tutto l’anticipo senza restituire la quota non goduta di servizi per giunta inesistenti.

In italiano l’aggettivo pessimo indica che peggio non è possibile, da oggi il nome palm beach per me diventa sinonimo di qualcosa peggiore del pessimo.
