From my interaction with the baristas (as my italian is terrible and I speak spanish to them which semi works I could be in error), they are trained to make coffee not know about coffee. The owner knows their coffee though. At least they didn't call a pour over a V60, that has happened to me in a specialty place. The food appears to be quality but I didn't try it. The coffee is what matters. First the location is very attractive and elegent that sets the bar high, fortunely they do at least satisfy that standard. The presentation was incredible with a first with a small sample to smell. At first it concerned me when I saw the near full mug for an americano but the strong italian brew tasted barely watered down. They had a small pitcher of hot water to set the taste. The coffee itself is of the highest quality that only a few places greatly exceed (add workers who actually know more than how to make coffee would be a plus). The thick medium bodied brew tasted of less acid as it cooled but very low. A bit of a thick, floral, and fruity cafĂŠ. My hope is this is how they always present and not for the bit pretensious coffee snobs who make reviews, as they initially had it on a white saucer only. This place qualifies as a specialty coffee place that goes a step further. My recomendation is to train the staff on more just making coffee as the only improvement. The price is to high at 4 euros when the most normally is under 3 for the highest quality. It is good for people who know very little about coffee but want an experience. Beautiful...
Read moreWe stayed a week in Pescara, and what a week it was! Wanting to experience the city like a true local, we asked around for the best coffee spot, and the answer came without hesitationââFiorilli Coffee Labâ. From the first sip, we knew weâd found something special.
Each morning, we made our way back, drawn not just by the rich, velvety coffee or the perfectly flaky pastries, but by the warmth of the place itself. It wasnât just a cafĂŠâit was a ritual, a slice of daily life in Pescara. We watched as families greeted each other, as the scent of freshly brewed espresso wrapped around us, as the owners exchanged friendly words with regulars. The rhythm of the city was there, in that cozy corner, and we felt completely at home.
I canât imagine a more perfect way to start the day. When I return to Pescara, Fiorilli Coffee Lab will be my very first...
