La Playa — Restaurant in Pescara

I really dont know where to start.I get to travel A LOT for my job..so I come across all manner of places, people...things. The owner (I asumed)...did not even acknowlwdge my entry...he called the black waitress over (I am a woman of color originally from the Caribbean- NOT that it should matter right?) As I said...I travel a LOT for my job. The waitress was SO kind and thats the only reason I gave it 1 star. I started with an Aperitif...that was actually pretty good... THEN I had fun ordering sea food with help of waitress and google translate. I waited for... FOREVER. (I read reviews of others -so this was expected). What I didnt expect was a group of Itlians (who owner clearly knew as well as other single, Italian man who all came after me ..and got served before me. It didnt end there... When my plate finally arrived... I litetally had 1 shrimp and 4 mussels. But...it didnt end there.. 3 mussels were EMPTY and The food was overall not that tasty. It didnt end there... The owner...went to every table asking how was everything...(Thanks Google Translate/ Conversation)... And still refused even eye contact with me. Overall a very. unfortunate experience which I would have been happy to overlook had the food been tasty -especially in a reataurant located in a COASTAL town...one does expect a better...

Odio mettere recensioni negative perche significa che ho preso una fregatura ,ho terminato una giornata di mare incazzato nero, ma andiamo nel dettaglio senza scrivere un tema.....ore 13 , visto l'ora tarda ci siamo fermati e abbiamo preso un ombrellone e due sdraio 20 euro ,assolutamente troppo , viso che palma e 4 sdraio due giorni prima in uno stabilimento adiacente ho pagato 30 euro tutto il giorno, ma lasciamo perdere perche il peggio è arrivato a pranzo. 1 antipasto di pesce (6 tipi come da menu) da 16 euro ,ho creduto che come dovunque a quel prezzo mi avrebbe portato una serie di antipasti,invece no, un misero piatto striminzito al cui interno cerano tutti e 6 i tipi di antipasto e tolti ceci e fette di arancia era rimasto solo il piatto , un ora dopo arriva il primo di spaghetti allo scoglio (2 piatti) rigorosamente di pesce decongelato della peggiore marca e pasta calda esternamente , l'interno freddo, evidentemente l'avevano preparata con molto anticipo e riscaldata malamente prima di servirla, due patatine due gelati e una bottiglia di vino a 85 euro e con quelle porzioni abbiamo digiunato. Il servizio chiaramente era dello stesso livello ,ma non infierisco per via dei due ragazzi che pur con gravi carenze ce l'anno messa tutta. I clienti andrebbero rispettati , sono quelli che vi portano la moneta quotidianamente, quanto a me, mai piu in un posto del genere.
