White Bakery — Restaurant in Pescara

The vibe, this place has a very interesting vibe. The theme is american, but it's like the person who designed it just took a bunch of american ideas and put them in a specific era of time. In this case it's the 1950s ( I think). Its also very interesting because there are all sorts of weird American memorabilia things everywhere like a bobble head president collection?? But it's ok. It adds to the ambiance. Also the idea of NY bakery is everywhere, but it doesn't really mean anything bc that's not really ny.Ok the food. Presentation is beautiful, the vibe + the presentation of things makes this place 4 star. However, the pastries and sundae that I had were objectively just ok. It's a fun date spot, maybe a small party spot, but the food is too expensive and not good enough for anything less than " treat yo self " . Good stuff but a little too expensive. Food is good, coffee is a bit watery from what I am used to in Italy but on par with American dinner coffee, only bad thing is that they don't offer refills for coffee as it is customary in any american breakfast dinner. Service is a bit slow, there aren't many people working there and they have to sit you, take your order and they have a cash register where you pay, the same people serving and siting and charging makes service slow, it has nothing to do with the time they take to make the food so I think just adding a person to stay at the register and maybe have people sit themselves would speed the service tenfold. They have many tables inside as well as outside looking over the square. Another thing I would suggest on improving is offering tap water along with the breakfast or a small glass of water as most coffee shops give you along with your coffee, I had to pay 1.50€ for a carton of water (at least it...

Nel mia "Sin City" che significa "Città del Peccato" (nel mio caso di gola...) non potevamo farci mancare questo buonissimo ed abbondante "Sundae alla Nutella" composto da gelato fior di latte, graniglia di nocciola, biscotti alla Nutella, Mikado e ovviamente la nutella stessa sormontata da panna e ancora panna... e tantomeno potevamo lasciarci sfuggire un "Sundae al Bounty" composto appunto da mini Bounty, gelato, graniglia di cocco al cioccolato, Mikado e ancora tanta...tanta panna. Il tutto accompagnato da un milk shake al cappuccino e un caffè americano. A questo si aggiunga un morbido pancake al fior di latte con fragola, mirtilli e banana. Insomma... peccati di gola veri e propri forse non molto salutari (eccetto la frutta) ma che rendono davvero piacevoli quegli istanti di vita in cui li assapori... Le porzioni di quanto ordinato sono buone ed abbondanti. È consigliatissimo a chi vuole permettersi trasgressioni del palato senza temere medico, dentista e dietologo... Il servizio è stato molto rapido e gentile. Nella visita successiva invece ci hanno sbagliato ordinazione ed abbiamo dovuto aspettare un solo pan cake oltre un'ora. Inoltre il caffè americano ci era stato riempito solo a metà. Ma siccome si sono resi conto di quanto accaduto e la cameriera che dirige le altre è stata molto professionale oltre che gentile lascio le 5 stelle. Può capitare a tutti una giornata un pò più sfortunata.
