This place was a mixed feeling. Food was definitely overpriced, want to be gourmet but not delivering that quality. Way too expensive. Risotto was undercooked, ravioli came in a very small quantity, but the squid was the only exception and was really good. A bit pricey still. The service was strange, waiters kept arguing and the overall vibe didn’t feel very friendly and nice. We felt looked down upon even with natively speaking Italian. Service was slow given the restaurent was at 30% capacity. You can do better! Location is amazing and the venue has potential to be something great :) If you make people pay the price, give them the experience

Accanto al nostro tavolo, una coppia si lamentava della lentezza del servizio. Ed è stato proprio lì che ho avuto una rivelazione: quella “lentezza” era in realtà il vero lusso dell’Eden. Seduti su una terrazza in spiaggia, con i piedi nella sabbia, sotto una notte stellata che sembrava dipinta, io e il mio amico inglese ci siamo lasciati trasportare da ogni secondo. Un bicchiere di rosato di Michele Biancardi in mano, la musica lenta ma magnetica in sottofondo, il rumore del mare come colonna sonora naturale. È stata un’esperienza da assaporare goccia dopo goccia, minuto dopo minuto. Quando sono arrivate persino delle copertine per scaldarci, l’attesa è diventata ancora più dolce. Non più tempo che scorre, ma tempo che si vive. Se cercate la velocità, Eden non fa per voi. Qui ogni attimo ha un peso diverso: si respira, si sospira, si sente la vita. Sarebbe bellissimo se il locale facesse di questa filosofia un vero e proprio concept, perché ho trovato veramente ingiusta la critica fatta dal tavolo affianco al nostro. Qualcosa del tipo: “Da noi il tempo rallenta. Perché crediamo che la lentezza serva a dare valore alle cose. Intanto vi regaliamo gli strumenti per goderla: la sabbia sotto i piedi, il profumo del mare, un pane fatto in casa da intingere in olio buono, il canto dei gabbiani…” Sul cibo non mi dilungo: basta guardare le foto per capire che la qualità è da A++++. Un’unica nota costruttiva: sarebbe stato piacevole ricevere una piccola descrizione dei piatti al momento del servizio. Con tutta questa magia rischi perfino di dimenticare cosa avevi ordinato! Ma forse è proprio questo il segno che ci siamo distratti nel modo migliore. ALTAMENTE CONSIGLIATO.

Personalmente recensisco a vantaggio della bravura del cuoco a discapito di un cattivo servizio, su cui sorvolo se mangio bene. Premesso che il conto è bello salato, per intenderci più alto che in Riviera romagnola, ma che i motivi per alzare la posta e competere questo ristorante li ha tutti, mi sento di consigliarlo vivamente. No, non aspettatevi camerieri preparati e cortesi, nè dei sommelier. C'è però cucina sperimentale, impiattata con gusto, estrema cura dei prodotti del territorio, a partire dal pane e dall'olio, dai lampascioni, dal pesce fresco e cotto alla perfezione, incluso il polpo a bassa temperatura e l'orata con la pelle croccante. Il cuoco è senz'altro di rilievo seppur giovanissimo, il locale è a conduzione familiare, le cameriere senza sorriso. Ho sentito molte lamentele tra noi commensali lasciati sotto la pioggia, che mi sento di condividere, ma ripeto: la cucina merita tutte le stelle possibili. Abbiamo assaggiato: - carpaccio del pescato del giorno (ahimè, cefalo, pessima scelta) con infuso di erbe garganiche (15€) - seppie con riduzione di fichi, crema di biete, lampascioli caramellati (15€) - orata con fonduta di bufala (una besciamella direi), crema di peperoni (buonissima) e cipollotti grigliati (19€) - polipo con crema di patate (migliorabile) e coulis di lamponi (eccezionale) (18€) Totale conto per due: 88€.

Honestly so overpriced for what you get. We ordered a wine bottle that had apparently run out so we were proposed an alternative by a waiter that was supposed to be the same price. When we got to pay we found out it was 10€ more than what he had said. I got a fried egg for entree that was about 15€. For one single egg. Also ordered a coffee with a digestive that never came, ended up getting it from the bar on the veranda. Location is romantic but I’ve dined on trabocchi along the coast that are cheaper with an impeccable service, unique location, experience, and unmatched food quality with 5+ courses. In my opinion this place is just not worth it. We spent 140€ for 2 entrees (one single fried egg and a tuna tartare), 2 risottos, a bottle of wine, a coffee and 2 digestives. Again,...

Came to this fancy looking restaurant with fancy looking staff with my girlfriend to get asked right in to my face if we gonna eat or just want a drink. Drink I said, thinking that I might have full meal later. Arrogant waiter told us that he’d only served us if we eat. Literally said “I don’t have time to serve you only for drink - the restaurant was half empty. I don’t know if it’s an Italian thing to not serve “only” drinkers, but I know that my money was good in restaurant literally next door where we had two bottles of nice local prosecco and two full meals where nobody was wingin about wher there we were about to spend our holiday money on food or drinks. And to whoever is answering to this comment I have to say: Don’t be sorry...
