Mida's Stube — Restaurant in Peschiera del Garda

You couldn't drag us back into here!! Our waitress has to be the most surliest of individuals I have ever met in this profession in my life. It would be easier to raise the titanic than a smile from her. My wife is a coeliac and we only found out at the end of the rest of our party of 8 ordering that they don't have a gluten free option in their menu. 2 more of our party had to order different dishes as our original choice wasn't available at 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon! Our drinks were practically dumped on the table by an equally unhappy looking waiter, we poured our own wine which had bits of cork floating in it and bottled water (no tasting the wine!) We were told there was no bun available for my daughters burger which she got anyway, and yet it was served with a bun. My other daughter wanted a burger but decided with no bun, she'd have the carbonara instead, it was very dry and we had to wait for our waitress to be passing our table to request parmesan off her! The chicken cutlet my son ordered was fried to within an inch of non existence which made it crunchy and hard and not much resemblance to chicken at all. Overall a horrendous experience with horrendous waiting staff, and according to my daughters, the toilet facilities are a whole new conversation which I'm not going to go into! ENTER...

So i gave 1 star because of the location. Today we were hungry , checked google , this restaurant had non stop opening hours for the kitchen, the menu on their website is i can say perfect. Italian food restaurant (only on their website menu). Once you get there things change, they have a different menu and they say the website menu is old.Now the surprise come ...they have a fast food menu, burger, wurst, chicken wings and lot of bs food like that. Guys really? You have a prime spot location, on the lake,big terrace, wonderful view but you sell burgers and panini and other horrible food. Look just sell the place and get a long long holiday is better for everyone. If i want to eat burgers and wurst i go to McDonald's probably their junk food is...

Decided to have pasta and revisited a restaurant I enjoyed last year while on holiday. This time, though, it wasn’t as good as I remembered. My pasta was alright, but the sauce was overcooked and way too thick. My husband had the seafood pasta and thought it was just okay, while my friend’s salad looked the best of the three meals.

We sat inside due to the humidity, but we couldn’t get a table in the preferred area since they were all reserved. Strangely, no one occupied those tables while we were there. If you go, definitely book ahead to choose where you sit. We ended up in a large room with stagnant air, which wasn’t ideal.
