This place used to be a very cozy, intimate and elegant restaurant on the water side on the best spot of Peschiera del Garda, now it’s just a pizzeria without any costumer service attention, the waiters were just running up and down and we were waiting over 40 minutes to get some attention because we didn’t enjoy the meal, the tempura prawns was oily and tasteless but we had it because we were starving and we wanted to order something else (paying of course), after long waiting we I went inside and asked one wIter to order one “battuta di fassona” for me, they forgot about my order and after very long time the waitress came to our table and asked if we wanted the bill, I said we are actually waiting for a dish and she went to check in the kitchen and then we finally got our “battuta di fassona”, that was absolutely disgusting as the meat was very fatty and hard. So I left it there and no one came to our table to check if we were happy with our food until we went inside to pay at counter and then the waitress went to clear our table, she so the whole dish left on the table and didn’t even ask what was wrong with that. Read moreNot a fan. Came here based on the Google reviews and was sorely disappointed. Besides the waterfront view (which you can easily find elsewhere in Lake Garda!) everything else was sub-par. Ordered mussels and clams which almost made me dry retch. Veggies were poorly cooked. Lasagne was very ordinary and tasted microwaved. Fries were dry. The only plus side was they were open for an early dinner, which suited us well with a toddler. Perhaps the Tortuga next door was the better one to visit, and it was our mistake - recommend checking the menu at both restaurants for comparison if you are thinking...
Read moreI went with a friend from Berlin for dinner happy to showcase the italian food. I ordered a Parmigiana of courgette and aubergine, what I got was not a Parmigiana. It was a layer of grilled vegetables with cheese and tomato sauce. My friend had the linguine or spaghetti with clamps, they were lower than average, very plain. As desserts we had tiramisù, which seemed frozen, and pistacchio soufflé. The soufflé was ready in leas than 15 minutes and it was not a soufflé, but a kind of muffin-cake filles with a creamy core of pistacchio. I was disappointed as the rating in Google...
