We had a great lunch. The service is really good. Both the pasta ravioli with fish ragù on a lemon creme, and the riso rossi with salmon, avocado and mango was delicious. Delicate and well balanced flavors. Well beyond the typical local/regional dishes that are served (often with average execution) in most places. Note: they have outside seating both on seaside and in the main piazza.

As am American visiting, the shop owner was extremely inviting, helped me practice my Italian and order my breakfast. This was the best cappuccino I have had since I came into the city. I sat our front and looked at the sea and had an amazing breakfast! I highly recommend!

Locale sulla passeggiata di Pietra Ligure, di fronte al mare. Entri e ti senti a casa, mi sembra di vedere mia mamma che cucina. Siamo stati qui 4 volte e ci torniamo spesso. Anche il figlio della proprietaria del locale, Nicolò, è gentilissimo e davvero simpatico. La cucina è semplice e casereccia, poche portate ed un menù sempre in cambiamento. Materie prime fresche, anche per questo secondo me il menù varia spesso. Menzione d'onore per la pasta e fagioli... La più buona dell'universo. È un piatto che adoro ed è la seconda volta che ho la fortuna di trovarlo! Che dire... Davvero spaziale!!! Oltretutto le porzioni sono generose. Complimenti a tutti! Veniteci e ordinate la pasta e fagioli, goderete come non mai!!!

This was a pleasant surprise. Had lunches here during my stay in Pietra Ligure. A family run place and everyday is a different menu which is hand written in a notebook. Innovative menus not for the run of the mill tourist, so will not get piazza and fried fish. The pastas are to die for and they have a lot healthy options. A must try if you are...
