It was quite a walk from my hotel to find this ristorante. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the staff and the exquisite feeling of cooler air caressing me as I exited the 32°C I had been roaming around in for hours. I was shown a small table for two near the wall where I could easily observe the sunny street and other diners. It was 6.30pm, and so there weren't many diners yet. I was given a menu in English by the friendly waiter. I took my time to read the menu, and finally ordered pizza buffalo, a coke zero and a salad. The waiter noticed I was using my smartphone and offered me the code to use the freelance Wifi which worked splendidly. My order was placed before me in less than ten minutes. A very large glass with cold coke, and a absolutely delicious pizza. Who knew pizza could be this heavenly? It was baked to perfection, crunchy and easy to bite, the tomato sauce worthy of that Italian reputation and mozzarella melted exactly the way it should be. That tomato sauce still haunts me now, if only I knew the recipe! It actually tasted like tomatoes, and was both sweet and slightly salty, not too hot and not too cold with a smooth texture. The salad was a bit disappointing in contrast as it was a big bowl of mostly lettuce with tomato slices and not much more. I seasoned it with the provided olive oil and balsamico, and that helped, but once the tomatoes had gone I was still left with a lot of lettuce. The salad was very fresh and crisp though, which should still count for something. All in all definitely...

We came here on Rick Steves’ recommendation noting it was only about 5 minutes’ walk from the leaning tower complex. We waited approximately 45 minutes from being seated to being served our food (and this was after a lengthy wait for our order to be taken). It is unclear whether this was owing to a lack of manpower or otherwise. However once the pizza arrived it was excellent and we had no complaints thereafter. I’d still recommend it but need to take a star off as we had to miss visiting the cemetery on account of the substantial delay occasioned by the lengthy wait. Budget more time in your trip if you’d like to...

Best pizza we have had in Italy. It is a bit different than the traditional Italian pizza but I would say it is way better. We don’t know if it was the tomato sauce, the crust or the cheese but it was seriously so delicious. The Cecina is amazing first time I’ve eaten it in Italy, it was good to discover the origin of this dish that in Argentina we call “faina”. The staff also deserves +5 stars. Super nice and funny it gave a good vibe to the place. Cheap prices. We paid 16€ for 2 pizzas, the cecina is 2€. We really enjoyed our dinner! I wish we could have discovered this place on...
