Coco loco's — Restaurant in Portescusi/Portoscuso

Unfortunately the waiting staff and the excellent service they provide is completely undermined by the owners of Coco Loco. The two married owners male and female have a utterly disgusting attitude towards people who speak out about the quality of food or service. Witnessed a woman being physically attacked by the female owner over a 50 cent dispute after spending over a 100+ euros on food and tipping another 50 euro to the staff. When the police was called a fully grown so called man (male owner) was heckling and intimating a woman as she gave a statement to the police. Also witnessed another patron who complianed about there mussels not being cooked properly, to then have the dish thrown over them. All of this in front of families enjoying the beach and a pleasant day out during the Italian bank holiday of ferragosto. I personally refuse to spend a single cent in this place and a total disgrace to the town...

Locale con terrazzo sul mare. Vista molto bella e rilassante…Ora le note dolenti: Abbiamo consumato due fritture, uno spritz e una bottiglietta d’acqua al tavolo, nella zona fast-food. Ci è stato chiesto il pagamento anticipato a fronte del documento comprovante l’ordine. Il cameriere ha provveduto a portarci il resto ma non lo scontrino fiscale. Alla fine della consumazione abbiamo richiesto gentilmente e giustamente lo scontrino...al che è arrivata la proprietaria (o almeno sembrava che fosse la responsabile del locale) che, urlando, ci ha lasciato lo scontrino ma ci ha anche detto perentoriamente che andava richiesto in cassa (nessuno ce lo aveva rappresentato né appare verosimile visto che dei pagamenti si occupano i camerieri che vengono al tavolo a riscuotere). Non solo...la signora, Sempre con stizza e sempre urlante, ci ha chiesto di abbandonare il tavolo perché stavamo “creando più problemi che consumazioni”. Quindi a tutti gli avventori: occhio agli scontrini, che siano davvero documenti fiscali.

Si impone una replica alla risposta del proprietario/del gestore: 1-quanto al fatto che si rivolga a me chiamandomi “il signore in questione”, forse non è chiaro che io sia una donna e comunque non ho mai fumato. Ed invero il mio cavaliere fuma il sigaro ma non risponde al vero che sia stato invitato a spegnerlo così come non risponde al vero che in prossimità del nostro tavolo ci fossero bambini. Di ciò ne sono testimone. 2-quanto al fatto che io possa aver detto “idiozie” con riferimento all’aspetto fiscale, l’inconferenza della risposta pare essere indice del fatto che alcuna valida difesa nel merito sia stata...

We arrived at 12.45 and reserved a table for 2 at 13.15 We seated ourselves at the table with our name written on a note on it.

The waiter finally arrived at 13.30 and took our order. whilst our appetizer and glasses of wine were delivered to the table promptly, we received our partial second course only at 14.25 and the French fries had been delivered to the wrong table.

We never did receive them. The food was mediocre but the service...
